Krista's Reception

On a whim, I decided to head to Boise for the weekend to help my parents get the house ready for the new floors. Saturday was Krista's reception and it was great to reunite with friends I haven't seen in a long time. I love my Boise friends!

Krista and Jorge. It was nice to finally meet Jorge since I have been hearing about him for so many years.
Krista and Me.
Christy and Me. It was so good to see her and finally meet all of her children.
Emily and Emily. Pretty great.
Rory's husband, Cameron, was pretty much the hit of the party. He brought balloons and made all sorts of animals, swords, and hats. The kids surrounded him the rest of the night.

Chuck E Cheese and other adventures

Aidan loves it.
Natalie and Lucy loving it.
Avery feels the love too.
Taken through the windshield of the moving car at Chuck E Cheese. Aidan is obviously enjoying himself immensely.
Even Natalie found a game she liked.
Mike, Natalie, and family came to visit me at my apartment. I recommend that others do so as well. I want you all to come visit me. I will cook you food.

Sarah has been living in the British Isles for the last two years but returned home last month. It was so good to talk to her again. I'm glad she'll be in Utah.
A friend in my ward, Shalece, danced at the Freedom Festival in Provo. Even though I was lame and got there 5 minutes after her show ended, she was still nice enough to strike a pose.

Apartment

No pictures on the walls yet. Soon.

Celebration

I spent Saturday with Mike, Natalie, and their family. We headed to Kaysville for their parade. We showed up a few minutes before it started but still got good seats. Avery and Aidan had fun collecting the candy thrown out into the crowd.
Lucy was very well-behaved and adorable.

That night, we went and watched the Sugar House fireworks. We found a great spot right off of I-80. The best part of the night was when Lucy said, "Emy" for the first time. She loves me.

New Apartment Before

I moved about one week ago from Saratoga Springs to Sandy. I'm living by myself and loving it. Here is the only before picture I have. Most things are moved in and settled now. I'll be posting more soon.

Rasmussen Reunion 2010

There is nothing that I would rather be doing the last weekend of June than attending the Rasmussen Reunion in Mink Creek, Idaho. Uncle Garland has made a beautiful park on his property for us to stay on and it is fun to see people each year.

The creek- beautiful
Our camping corner
Mom and Dad eating the traditional dutch oven potatoes
My spot- I decided to sleep under the stars far away from any possible snoring. It was the perfect night for sleeping out. I couldn't close my eyes for hours. It was that gorgeous.
I rocked the socks and sandals thing for a few hours the next morning. Next year I vote that more people (especially my siblings) come to the reunion.
