Emma and I got some canvas and went to town today. We collaborated and created the above pieces of artwork.

Story time with Mrs. Hobbs

At the school auction, we won the best auction item EVER. Emma's teacher - Mrs. Hobbs - came over with cookies and milk to read bedtime stories to the girls. She even brought light-up necklaces that went with one of the books. We actually had Mrs. Hobbs and her husband over for dinner the same night, and it was a huge treat. We just love them and can't imagine a better place for our girls to be in school.

Tillamook Tour

The cheese was good - but the ice cream was REALLY good.

Seaside Skate

I've never looked at the underside of one of these creatures. But I kept laughing whenever this one would swim the wall. It looked like a human dressed up as a skate!

Boating around

Our neighbors just took us out on their boat. We had a wonderful night - dinner, a sunset, and a trip under the bridge.

Joey visits

We gave this Florida baby a little rain while she was here, but managed to soak in some sun in the harbor while it lasted! I'm so glad you came to visit!!

Jack

One of my best friends since Junior High (Joey) just gave birth to her first child. This was an emotional meeting when they just came to stay with us from Florida. I always knew Joey would be a great mom, but she was convinced motherhood wasn't for her. Then she met the right man. And here is the fabulous result. I love you sweet Jack.

Summer and Daisy

This is our friend's dog summer. Daisy is starting to learn how to play with giant dogs. Somehow she thought Allie's ankles kept her safe. She would let Summer chase her and then book back to the ankles.

Animal Grossology

The girls and I got away to Seattle for "Animal Grossology" at the Pacific Science Center. We learned every gross thing you ever didn't want to know about animals. I spared you any pictures of sea cucumber slime, dung balls, or owl pellets.
