Milestones...

Luke started preschool on Sept. 10th! It's his first year in preschool and he only goes one hour a day, for 2 hours. We decided he'd enjoy it and since my mom babysits him on Thursdays after 11:00, it made for a perfect way to spend the morning. She picks him up from preschool and they head home. He absolutely loves it... he is in a class with 10 other 2 (almost 3) year olds and he says his favorite thing about it is playing with cars and painting. He wasn't nervous, didn't shed a tear, and eagerly ran off to play when I dropped him off! I think taking Emma to preschool the last three years helped for an easy transition!

Emma's 1st day was the 11th so she got to drop him off too!

Emma's first day of Kindergarten was on Sept. 11th!! It's SO hard to believe our little girl is "all grown up" and ready to enter the "real world" of school! She goes 5 days a week, all day. She likes her teacher and school so that's good! She was all smiles the first day, I do have to admit, I shed a tear or two but didn't let her see me! Luke was probably wondering why mommy was crying when we went to the car but he didn't ask. The first day was the longest of my life... I kept watching the clock wondering why the day was going so slow! I was eager for her to get home and tell me all about it!!

There she goes!! She looks so little! There are actually probably 30 kids that ride the bus from our bus stop... the driver had her stop though because the line was too long so that's why she looks like she's in the front!

As happy as can be!

Lake Pearrygin - August 27th - 30th

At the end of August, we went to Lake Pearrygin with Jeff's family. We stayed in the motorhome the first night and after his parents, brother, and sister and brother-in-law got there we moved to our tent and let the kids sleep in the motorhome with Nana, Bapa, and Uncle Joe. We had a great time... the kids loved playing in the sand and water and especially liked taking the row boat out with Nana! They spent hours on the lake and shore, exploring and being a pirate and princess. Nana sure has an imagination and the kids love to spend time with her!!
The view on the way over is gorgeous!! It looks like tropical water in
the middle of the pacific northwest!!

Bay View - August 21st-23rd

We spent Aug. 21st-23rd camping with our friends Dan, Michelle, and Cole at Bayview State park. We went to Bayview at the beginning of June and liked it so went back. Cole and Emma are only 3 days apart so they always have fun playing and Luke of course loves having a boy to play with! We played ball, rode bikes, went to the beach, etc.
