我的学姐

我的学姐非常厉害。学业、运动样样都棒。

来到印度最开心的一件事就是学姐很会煮!哈哈!

所以我有口福啦!

药材鸡汤、白斩鸡、糖水、清蒸鱼、炸鱿鱼、炒螃蟹、炒饭等等。

还有火锅。

面粉糕。

酸甜鱼。

咕噜肉。

Kerala Onam Festival

Last Friday was a big day for kerala folks. It’s the Onam Festival!

Although my college situated in Mangalore town at Karnatakka State, but almost 80% of the students are Kerala-ians (the state next to Karnatakka).

As far as i concerned, Kerala is known as “The God’s Country”.

To celebrate Onam, one must not forget the Kerala Banana Leaf Meal aka “Onasadhya”!

Onasadhya is a pure veg meal. But I LOVE IT!

As for the college, this is the first time the unions organise the GRAND ONAM FESTIVAL! Credits to the third years for organising this awesome event.

Typical Kerala Meal was served at college (of course we had to pay) which was catered all the way from Kerala! Yummy! especially the banana chips!!

Trip to Thousand Pillar Temple - Soans Nursery - Hanuman Gundi - Manipal - Malpe Beach from 31/08/2011 to 01/09/2011

Leave hostel life for a 2D1N trip.
At first, we planned to go for Hanuman Gundi waterfall and Manipal only.
Leave hostel at 5.30am but Hanuman Gundi waterfall opens to public at 10am.
To spend time, we went to Thousand Pillar temple, Moodabidri which was on the way to the waterfall.

Soans Nursery was our next destination.
It is famous for it's pineapple plantation and bamboos (they have the Great Burma Bamboo!). Unfortunately, we didn't have the chance to take a walk in plantation to experience the nature because have to follow the schedule to Hanuman Gundi waterfall. Will definitely go there again :D

At 10am, reached Kuremuch National Park.

Took around 15+ minutes drive further more to Hanuman Gundi Waterfall.
Entrance fee is 20rps per person.

Have to walk down from the entrance to reach the waterfall.
Nice view, water is crystal clear and icy COLD!
Had picnic there with monkeys staring at us waiting to snatch our food.
luckily the cab driver was with us.
So, after spending almost 1hour, we leave there and head to Manipal.

Stayed in Deluxe room for 1471rps per night for 2 person at Ashlesh Hotel, Manipal.
It's comfortable and spacious.

Had lunch at Attil restaurant. awesome deep fry Pomfret but quite costly.

Went to Malpe Beach by bus from Udupi. 
Love the beach!
Bought kite :D
Dinner at Parivar Sweet (awesome puri!!!!!), Teaze and Chefinn (nasi lemak!!).

Raining since yesterday. Luckily, we manage to stick on most of the schedule although couldn't visit Tailin and Medan Selera during our stay due to off on public holiday.
Leave Manipal at 2pm.
