Busy Times!

So I have had a busy couple of weeks and a lot has happened.

My grandma sold her house in Mapleton and bought a condo in Orem. Her house is pretty big and so I moved in her basement! Which is really fun. I have my own little apartment/basement suite! :) This is the first time that I have move away from home. I miss my parents a lot but luckily they are only 1.6 miles away! And I talk to her everyday! haha My place is really cute.

Also I GRADUATED TODAY! It was my commencement of my two years at Provo College. I can't believe that it is done. I am going to miss all my friends and teachers. We had so much fun together. I learned a lot and played a lot too. I met some amazing people and friends that will stay in my life for a long time. It was so much to have the opportunity to have the graduation at the Provo tabernacle. Although it is was way hot...it was nice. My good friend Erin Sorenson had the opportunity to be the speaker for our class. She did an amazing! I was so proud of you! So if was fun to walk and get my diploma. So the boys kissed Nackos on the forehead after they got their diploma! haha I am going to miss all their crazy things! They tried to get me to...but I don't think that would be very good.

After we had a BBQ at my parents' house (that is so weird to say that). It was so fun to see everyone and be able to talk to them. The highlight of my day was the fact that one of my past patients was able to come and see me. She is amazing and one of my heroes. She inspires me to be optimistic and be grateful for every trial that is in my life. She has strengthened my testimony of the gospel. I love her so much! I will always have her close to my heart. I will always remember her! :)

It was an amazing day! :) Thank you to everyone that came and helped it happen!

So far so good!!

So I have completed my first week as a physical therapist assistant! IT IS AWESOME!! :) I love it!! This week I went to four different settings/facilities. Monday I was at UVRMC Outpatient Spine, it was fun! Then Tuesday I was in the Rehab wing of the hospital, it also was super fun! Wednesday I was at American Fork. I love those guys. I got to work with the same therapists and aids that I did for my clinical. :) Thursday I was at UVRMC inpatient. It was so awesome! In fact they called me and I have days that I am covering for them. Friday I was at American Fork again. Except I was just a PTA...I didn't have to follow someone around and get trained. I loved it so so such!! Have I said already that I love my job!! I love my job!!

So tomorrow I have orientation for IHC. It is an all day event. I am there from 7:45 am to 4:00 pm. Oh man! It is going to be a long boring day! haha I do get free breakfast and lunch. I get to have lunch with my supervisor. It could be awkward but I think that he is cool. I am excited!!

WHAO!!

So today I am officially a IHC employee. :) I am a on-call PTA for Utah County. Which means that where ever they need me I will go and work. I will know about a week in advance. I am so excited. My supervisor is going to be really cool. I am so excited!!

Today I had to meet with employee heath and human resources. I have to get a drug test and get my blood drown. Gah! I know. Needles!! The cute guy that took my blood was really nice. He did a great job. I didn't pass out or throw up! :) And I actually could pee in the cup. Normally I get stage fright and I can't pee. haha

I will probably start on Monday. I will be oriented over the next two weeks. I will be going to all of the facilities and get to know the therapists and how things are run. So David, my supervisor, told me that I am the first on-call physical therapist assistant. I feel pretty awesome about that. :)

St George!

So yes..I went to St George again! I love it done there! It was beautiful weather! I enjoyed every minute of not worry about studying and getting my homework done. :)

I went done with my friends Ashton Rust and Kristen Chambers. They are pretty much awesome! We all were able to be honest with each other. Which I feel is extremely important to a friendship. We drove done on Wednesday, April 29th, and stayed until May 3rd. I don't think that it was long enough. Just kidding! We did a lot of really fun things. So here is the breakdown.

The when we first arrived in St George we went to the condo unpacked out stuff and got settled in. Then we went to In-n-Out Burger. Oh it was so greasy and delicious! We stopped at Walmart got food for the week and went back to the room and watched a movie. I slept on the pullout in the living room. Luckily we all got our own beds and areas.

The next day I woke up early and went for a really nice run. It was so beautiful. I loved it! Then when I got back I changed and we got to go to the St George Temple and do baptisms. I have to say that it was one of the most spiritual and beautiful moments I have had. I love the Temple so much. I am so glad that we went and were able to enter into the holy Temple. After we were done at the Temple we went back and laid out for the rest of the day. I got toasted, I didn't really burn. Just a little. But Ashton and Kristen got fried! ha ha Ashton had some of the weirdest lines I have ever seen. And we don't know how they got there. Kristen is so fair skinned that we got a sunburn when we were eating at In-n-Out for 15 minutes. Poor girl. But we went to Chili's for dinner where our waiter gave us each like 5 drinks at a time. I had to pee so bad after that! Ha ha After dinner we went home and watched a movie.

Friday, I woke up went running again! ha ha Then we just laid around the house all day. We read, slept, chilled. It was great. That night we got a head start on shopping and went to TJ Max and more. I love that store. But while we were there some girl wearing a hideous outfit called me a swine!! Can you believe it?! So I gave her the dirtiest crusty I have ever given. Then we went to Old Navy and played a fun game where we got to dress up Kristen. She didn't like our game so much. But Ash and I sure did!! :) We were checking out my cashier was checking me out! He was kind of creepy! ha ha How come I get all the creepers?! Just kidding!

Saturday was the day of shopping! We hit the outlet malls, the mall, and a couple of other shops. I got a bunch of cute clothes. It was a very successful shopping day. It was crazy though. When we were at the mall walking around I heard someone yell my name. I was confused, I didn't know anyone down there so I looked around and saw my long lost friend Ryan! I was so happy and excited to see him. I love that kid!! We were best friends our freshman and sophomore years. I haven't seen him since graduation. Crazy crazy! That night we went out to dinner with good friend Jonny, from school, and his cute wife and son. It was nice to meet them and get to talk to them. It was really fun.

Unfortunately we had to leave on Sunday. We were able to go to church at the institute down there. I was fun to go to a completely different ward. After sacrament we headed back to Provo. We did stop in Fillmore at Larry's Drive-In. Oh it was so good! I had one of the best burgers there. I think that if I was to pick one food to eat for the rest of my life it would have to be a burger! ha ha I love beef! :) Mmmm!! So while were driving we did some freeway flirting with this car full very attractive men. ha ha It was pretty fun. We also saw my future husband. :) He is a motorcycle guy. He does jumps and sweet awesome stuff like that. :) He had my dream truck, red Ford 350 tinted windows lifted extended cab! Oh baby!! So we passed him like right after we left St George and didn't think that we would see him again..but we did. He caught up to us while we were eating. It was so funny I couldn't believe that we saw him again. I loved it! ha ha Plus he was pretty hot. What else could I want?! Just kidding!

I am glad to be home, but I had a lot of fun with the girls in St George. :)
