I have a question 43?

I doubt that there has ever been a person who has lived a problem free life.  We’ve been hurt by things or people in our lives.  Financial problems, health problems, and problems in our relationships are probably on the list of troubles we’ve faced.

In the book of James 1:2-4 we are told to count it all joy when we face various trials and tribulations.  To be honest I wouldn’t consider trials and and tribulations something I would consider a reason for joy, but when I’m going through a difficult time, no matter what the cause I remember this scripture.  Which if I’m being honest is often, because of health reasons, being in chronic pain, financial troubles, and personal attacks.

So here’s my question:

I have a question 43:

Do you feel like you are under constant attack and that you can’t seem to find a moment’s peace?

What helps you when you’re going through a difficult and painful time?

Follow up on A Challenge For You/Footprints

Earlier this month I showed these pictures with a challenge, so now is my turn to share what they inspired me to write.

I was frozen with fear

Stuck in the past

Then You reached down

and picked me up

You carried me

in Your loving embrace

Drying my tears

You told me that

I no longer needed to be afraid

because You are with me always

and Your love for me is eternal

The Moon Tonight Through The Tree

I have no light of my own I only reflect the light from the One who gives me life For He is the Light Without Him I am only darkness but He chose to shine His light upon me Washing the darkness from me

A Challenge For You/Footprints

Many of us have read the poem Footprints

Here are two pictures that made me think of that poem.

Here’s the challenge:

Use either one of these pictures to write your own poem on footprints.

I know many of you are talented poets, so I’m looking forward to reading your poems. Please leave a link to your poem in the comments.
