I have mocked the NY Times frequently here.  They have cut themselves off from their readers for many years.  20 years ago, you could start discussions at their home website which I did daily, for example.  Then, due to the World Trade Center attacks, they terminated these discussions.  They continued with ‘comment on articles’ then reduced this more and more over time to zero today.

Yes, they shut down Easter churches due to the raging war with Iran.  These wars in the Middle East are endless.  Since religions are involved, these are very stubborn wars or desire for wars.  Everyone also talk about ‘love and peace’ but these depend first on total victories for someone, anyone.  The sword decides who rules!

Once again, the conservatives in the Supreme Court saves our civil rights.  Freedom of Speech is literally our #1 Amendment as Benjamin Franklin demanded, he being the top ‘newspaper’ person back in the Revolution.  All our freedoms rest on the right to write or say or illustrate anything and everything, even bad stuff, lies, anything at all.  Censorship always leads to governments protecting themselves and going full corruption, nonstop.
