Tampa Bay Aquarium

During the time we were in Florida we spent one day in Tampa at the aquarium and also IKEA. The aquarium was pretty cool. I have been to the one in Baltimore a few times and the one in Tampa is more geared towards children which makes it a lot more fun with kids. Isaac, Leah and Adam had a blast at the splash pad that was outside. The splash pad was huge and a great way to get wet. There were a lot of really fun animals along with fish and other marine animals.

Sunset on the Beach

Eric and I went down to Florida with my parents, sister and brother-in-law and their kids for a week. One night we went out to watch the sunset and took a few candid family photos. Jenn's kids have so much spunk and personality it is fun to watch them and to enjoy watching them play together.

Camping in PA

Eric and I decided to go camping this last weekend since the weather was going to be great and we actually didn't have anything planned for Saturday which is amazing. Eric picked a state park in PA outside of Gettysburg because he wanted to hike on the Appalatian Trail and there was a chance that friends from Harrisburg were going to joining us. The state park is just five miles down the road from where the camp is that the church bought for girls camp. Our GPS got us way lost and we spent an extra hour driving around the back woods of PA. Once we got to the campground it was pitch black but we managed to get the tent set up and a fire going. We enjoyed a night of roasted hot dogs and smores. The next morning Eric made breakfast before we packed up to go camping.

On the tent pad next to ours someone had built this arch that I thought was really cool looking.

Once we got on the trail we had a good time hiking and seeing the beautiful scenery. I tend to follow Eric so I am not the best at finding the trail markers. This time I asked Eric to let me go first so I could learn how to find the trail and lead. Eric took a picture of the view that he had for most of the day. I don't think he minded. :)
