peach picking...

"I smell peaches...my nost 'eaches'....along-a come a boy with a hole in his breaches..."

My Papa Payne used to sing this song to us as a kid...whenever I think of peaches, this song immmediately comes to my head! I love how I can hear him singing it...
such a beautiful peach orchard-i love the blue skies in the background...
picking peaches with Jayma Yesterday I went peach picking with Jayma and her friend from Ohio, Jinger. We went to Greenbluff and picked some of the most beautiful and sweetest peaches ever! I LOVE GREENBLUFF. The view is beautiful and you can go pick friuts and vegetables all summer long. Here are a few pictures from our morning.

I've been "tagged"

I was "tagged" by Lauren Walker to play the following game. I am not very exciting unfortunately, but here it goes...
The Rules:
1. I have to post these rules before I give you the facts.
2. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.

Random fact #1:
I LOVE WAL-MART. I don't say those words too often around this part of the country, but it is true! I travel 15 miles to go shopping--silly, I know! Especially when I pass about 10 other grocery stores on the way there!

Random fact #2:
I have already started my Christmas shopping! When you have a large family with a lot of nieces and nephews, I have to start this early to get things done! But I love every minute of it!

Random fact #3:
I have 3 jobs and enjoy all of them!!! As most of your know...I (1) manage an apartment complex full-time (2) waite tables at a cute little place downtown called Cafe Marron (3) work at Baby Gap
*once Eric graduates and isn't studying all of the time, I won't work as much!!*

Random fact #4:
Both Eric and I are ADDICTED to skiing!!! During ski season we go to the mountain all of the time--I will leave work early on weekdays and we go night skiing or go all day on the weekends-we are spoiled...I know!

Random fact #5:
I love to take pictures!!! My life changed when Eric gave me a digital camera. I don't know what I did without it! I bring my camera EVERYWHERE we go--it drives Eric crazy!!!! :) I always tell him he will appreciate it one day!

Random fact #6:
I really enjoy watching Sports Center on ESPN. This is probably a good thing because of my husband's infatuation with sports! I even watch it when Eric isn't around and I love to learn things so I can surprise Eric with my 'sports knowledge' :)

Random fact #7:
I am a HUGE Chicago Cubs fan. My husband has converted me...I love those Braves at heart though (don't worry Papa)!! This could be their year??? :)

Random habit #8:
I pick at my hair all of the time...I have no clue why? I try to stop but just have not been able to...yet! Eric is constantly telling me to stop!!! Hopefully one day though...

Jenna Brooke -- so sweet!

Congratulations to the Wittwer family!!! We were able to go and visit Andy and Nicole (from our small group at church) on Thursday and see their precious new baby girl. Jenna Brooke was born on August 4th. She is so sweet and just precious!

the comp. exam is over...

Wednesday night we went out and celebrated with friends the end of PT classes! All of the guys were very excited about being done with classes and with the exam. Thank you so much for your prayers, emails and phone calls! We both really appreciate it!!! Eric will find out on Monday the results--I will be sure to post them!

We had a wonderful time bowling with everyone. It was Ashlynn's first time to go-she is 2-so everyone enjoyed watching her! She is such a cutie!

As much fun as we had, the night was bitter sweet! We are really sad to see friends move away but so thankful God has brought them into our lives! Good luck to everyone during your clinicals and moving to new places!!! We will miss ya'll!!!!

ps--Lani, we missed you during bowling--the girls needed some more help! they had an extra bowler!!! Next time...

girl's night out...

Last night we had our first girl's night out with a few of the PT wives. I have no clue why we haven't thought about doing this in the past 2 years??? It was about time! Tiffany, Amanda and I went to Olive Garden while our husbands(and Ashlynn) stayed at home to study - their comprehensive exam is TOMORROW!!! We had such a good time just hanging out and talking for hours! Amanda and her family are moving to Salt Lake City this week for Ryan's clinicals==it is very sad to see them leave, but we are already looking forward to seeing them in June at graduation! And we get to see baby Ryder then too! :) Thanks girls for a great night!!! I had so much fun!

Blake and Randi's wedding

Saturday night Blake and Randi got married!!!! The were married at Beacon Hill which is a beautiful place in Spokane that looks over the city. The weather was perfect and couldn't have been any better! We had a great time with Philip and Jayma and the wedding was just beautiful! Congratulations Blake and Randi!!!!!
