a moment I'll never forget...

In case you didn't know...Addelyn has not been a cuddly baby - just lately, she has started cuddling with us, letting us rock her and has even fallen asleep in our arms a few times--that is a very BIG DEAL AROUND HERE! Last night, Eric hadn't been able to spend much time with Adde before it was bedtime - so she stayed up a little late to have some "Daddy time." She cuddled up with a blankie (thanks to Erin) and let Eric rock her. It was a PERFECT moment. I ran downstairs to grab my camera...I was able to get this shot before she wanted to "pose" for a picture! I love how they are just staring at each other-so sweet! After this, she started smiling for every other picture - she knows what to do when she sees the camera-so funny! Does that mean I take too many pictures? naw... "CHEESE"

HAPPY SPRING!!!

Addelyn wanted to tell everyone HAPPY SPRING!!!!

I LOVE cold weather-I always have and I love it even more since we have moved to Washington...but for some reason, I have been so excited this year about the warmer weather and sunshine!!! I think Addelyn has something to do with it because I know how much she is going to love being outside! Today the weather was PEFECT!!! It actually got up to 70 degrees...yah!! We went outside and enjoyed the sunshine this morning...Addelyn was very interested in grass...wasn't soo sure about it at first! I love this flower headband, but Eric apologized to Adde for me making her wear it! :) Oh well-it made for some cute pictures!

give me some green beans!!!

As I have said before, Miss Addelyn LOVES to eat! Usually, she will grab all of the food on her tray and stick it in one hand and try to shove it in her mouth. She loves green beans too - I couldn't resist this video! I know it is just of her eating, but she even eats cute! :) hee hee! She tried to wave (move her fingers) when I told her to say goodbye, but her hands were full of green beans! silly girl!

CHICK-FIL-A - people up here don't know what they are missing!!!

Up here in the Northwest...there is no such thing as a Chick-fil-a! So SAD! You think I would have gotten sick of Chick-fil-a because I ate it DAILY for 2 years in college - we had one on campus and it was part of our meal plan. It is the FIRST place I want to eat when we come visit-and sometime, my mom will put 2 sandwiches in her carry-on when she comes to visit us-Eric always talks about how gross that is, but he always eats his and won't let me have 2 sandwiches! My sister, Katie, sent me this video-it's pretty funny!

March 15, 2003

6 years ago today, I married my "dream boy!!!" (Beth Ward...you know all about this nickname!!!) I wish I still had the M.A.S.H. from my freshman year in college where this marriage was predicted-ha-little did i know we would start dating 3 1/2 years later!

I will never forget after our second date, I went into Karen's room (my roomie) and told her I was going to marry Eric Harrison...and here we are!

I can't imagine being any more happy! These past 6 years have been amazing-we have moved many times, made some wonderful friends, had the sweetest baby ever, and have grown closer and closer together. I feel so fortunate to be married to my best friend. Thank you sweetie for being the best husband a girl could ever ask for. I love you so much and can't wait to spend MANY more years together!

9 months old

9 months old aready!!! I was told the monthly pictures would get harder and harder - that is definitely true for Miss Addelyn. Has it really been that long ago I was pregnant? Addelyn is so much fun - we laugh at her and just have the best time being parents! We LOVE IT!

Addelyn went to her well-check appointment today and everything is FABULOUS!!!

Her 9 month stats are:

weight: 18 lbs 2 oz (25-50%)

height: 27 inches (25-50%)

head: 44.45 cm (50-75%)

some things she is doing lately:

-LOVES to eat!!! she would eat ALL DAY long if we would let her! :)

-no teeth

-not crawling

-loves to point with her index finger - so cute!

-signs "please" and just started "all done"

-SMILES a lot! :)

-will give you love or kisses (only if she is in the mood - and usually just to me and her stuffed

animals-ha!)

-loves to squeal and talk

-just started saying "uh" when she drops something (instead of "uh oh")

-her favorite toys are these little farm people and animals and anything else she can bang

together and make noise

-loves music/singing - even mine and Eric's!!!

-sleeps great and LOVES her blankie Aunt Katie made her

-easy baby!!!

I hate this is fuzzy but I love this silly face! :)

long time no blog....

I realized I haven't blogged in over 2 weeks-that has to be a record since Addelyn arrived! Here are a few pictures from the past 2 weeks!!!

Addelyn's first time eating kiwi-can you tell she REALLY enjoyed it? :) I love the black seeds on her face!

this shirt cracks me up--my parents got Adde this - It says "God said 'Can someone take care of this princess?' 'The older will serve the younger. Genesis 25:23'" Ha!

our church had a tailgate party after the service last week - it was pretty chilly outside!

Addelyn sure is cute as a button!!!!

Eric is teaching Addelyn football plays quite early! She sure does love it though!

Spokane visit

Spokane!!! So many of your know that I dearly miss Spokane - though the Tri Cities is growing on me! :) Over the past 3 months, we have planned 3 trips to Spokane and they have all been cancelled due to the crazy winter weather they have gotten - so last week we FINALLY made it! I counted up 20 people we were able to visit (mostly briefly)....but it was FABULOUS seeing everyone. (to those of you who didn't know we were coming in town-I'll definitely let you know next time-it just got pretty crazy!) Thank you so much to everyone who fed us, let us sleep at their house, met us all around town, and let us come to their house to say hello! We miss all of you!!! What a fun time we had - but after 2 days away from Eric, we were ready to come home - and I think he was really ready for us to come home - he missed his baby girl and her smile - oh and me too! :)
