laundry/packing day...

Today is our laundry and start packing day. It is quite different packing with a little girl "helping" me. She will definitely be a great "unpacker" when we get home from our trip! ha! At lesat she was having a good time..and so was I! Evertime I turned around, she was making me laugh getting into something else...silly girl! Good thing I have started packing so early-at this rate I'll barely be ready to leave on Friday! :)

Brooke came to visit!!!!

One of my best friends from college, Brooke, came to visit us last week. We had a great time showing her around town and just hanging out. This was her first time to see Addelyn and they bonded immediately! Addelyn even said "Brooke" - more like "brut" but it was way cute!! :) Thank you so much for coming Brooke--we had a blast!!! Miss you!

look who learned how to climb the stairs...one day it was only 1 then next day it was all of them!
she is FAST!!! now we have to teach her how to climb DOWN the stairs!

We went and visited Erin and Zoe for a few hours on Tuesday. Addelyn and Zoe really "played" together this time...it was fun to watch them...I must admit, Addelyn was a little more "aggressive" than Zoe..right Erin? ha! :) Poor Zoe...she is so good natured! Addelyn is so lucky to have so many little friends..and we haven't even been to the south yet...thanks for letting us come visit Erin and Zoe...we had a BLAST!!!

silly little girl!

Addelyn has been GETTING AROUND lately-it's been a lot of fun watching her pull up on furniture and crawl around EVERYWHERE! She surprised us this weekend by standing up in her crib! She is definitely keeping us busy! Get ready SOUTH here we come!!!

Happy Father's day!

Last year was Eric's first Father's Day...but Addelyn was only 5 days old plus we had so much going on with graduation, moving, family in town, a new baby, etc....so it wasn't too relaxing! This year we have tried to make Father's day ALL ABOUT ERIC!!! (I think he is taking a nap with golf on right now!) Eric is such an AMAZING daddy! Addelyn ADORES him and she can't get enough "daddy time!"(her first word was "Dada") Eric thank you for being such a GREAT dad! Addelyn is SO LUCKY!!! WE LOVE YOU!
