washington adventures with eric, rachel, addelyn and payne

The first weekend in March, daddy and I ran the Little Rock Half Marathon.  Believe it or not, this was not my idea...right after the St. Jude half I got a text from daddy asking me about this! :)  I think he is addicted!!!  We met up in Little Rock on Saturday, went to the expo, ate a super yummy pizza lunch downtown, and headed to Arkadelphia for the night.  Sunday morning we got up super early to head back to Little Rock for the race. The weather ended up being MUCH COLDER than forecasted...like 26 degrees, sunny and super windy! At least it was sunny!

I was super excited to see some of our best friends...I saw Jana (Michael's wife) 2 times on the course-she was so sweet cheering me on!

I was selected by House Party to host a Ducked Out Duck Dynasty Party.  It was the week before the new season began...we LOVE Duck Dynasty around here and were super excited for the party!

At the end of February, the Bass Master Classics were held on Grand Lake.  It was a big deal and people have been getting ready for this for a long time!!!  ESPN was here and lots of fishing celebs! :)  We decided to go EARLY one morning to watch the boat launch at start time.  We loaded up the kiddos at 5:45am and headed to the McMinns to caravan over!  Long story short, we ended up in the VIP section and had front row action! It was a chilly morning, to say the least, but we had a great time and ended the morning with a hot breakfast at the McMinn house!  Can't beat that!

Adde decided she was going to potty train Payne. She said she wanted do because Id on't like things like  that-oops..she has me pinned!  She started one Monday morning-asked to watch the Huggies Potty Training video we watched when she was 2...showed Payne pull ups,,,explained to him what to do in the bathroom...asked him to follow her and watch her...and this is how I found them!  He didn't so as well as she had wanted...so we gave up and are gonna start again later! :)

the kid's favorite movie right now is Soul Surfer (about the surfer Bethany Hamilton) - so we have lots of surfing going on in this house---and poor Mickey's arm got eaten by a shark!
