washington adventures with eric, rachel, addelyn and payne

So before deciding to return back to our old stomping grounds in WA...Eric's company offered him a job on the west side of WA.  Eric and I made a SUPER FAST trip up there to look around-gotta be honest, I fell in LOVE with Olympia and the area...but the job just wasn't the best fit for Eric.  At least we won't be far away :)

Here are a few pictures from our quick 1 day trip to the Olympia area....you can see why I fell in love with it!

and here are our friends while kayaking...SEALS EVERYWHERE!!  i loved to watch them swim around us...there were also jellyfish EVERYWHERE! and they were HUGE!!!!!

Terry and Me...so fun to know we have college buddies close by in WA and excited to be able to see more of them and their precious family!

and oh my was our dinner DELICIOUS!  all fried..yes but out of this world...fried shrimp and fish!  loving it!

It's a super long story and I won't bore the blog world with details but after much prayer and consideration (and Eric's job position here in Okie ending in September)...we are heading BACK to WASHINGTON!!!
That sounds so strange even reading back...I never thought we would be moving back!
So come October 1st...we will be Washington residents...

I'm a bit overwhelmed with the changes taking place in the next 6 months...
-new baby
-Adde starting KINDERGARTEN!!!!
-packing up the house..BOXES BOXES AND MORE BOXES
-moving across country...AGAIN
-sad about leaving amazing new friends here in Okie
-sad because we will be super far from family and long time friends again

BUT, we are looking forward to
-being back in Washington...where we started our adventures together 8 years ago, started our family and fell in love with the state
-having a Target and Starbucks within an hour from us :) WHOOOP!!!
-REALLY good friends
-not half as many bugs
-no more HUMIDITY!!!
-and so much more!

so here's to another adventure and moving across country AGAIN!!!!

Another summer with 2 weeks of swimming lessons...Adde was a ROCK STAR and did a fabulous job!  By the end of the lessons, she was jumping off the diving board (she even attempted the high dive) and sliding down the slides...I gotta watch her in the water because she is so daring!! GO ADDE GO!
