Erk, Mrk, Grk & Rrk

I started back to work last Monday and then had my first day with students on Wednesday. I'm teaching 3rd grade again and have once again a "GREAT BUNCH" of kids. I love teaching and it feels great to be back. I of course loved being off for the 10 weeks during summer but it feels great to be back in the classroom. The first day I went back I came home all excited. I love the smell of my classroom, the new school supplies, the excitement in the air for the new year, a new class with new students to meet, and the list goes on an on. How blessed I am to be a teacher!

Notice the saying on the binkie??? (Tax Deduction!) Eric being the CPA and me being the tax widow have gotten a big kick out of this! Thanks Celine and Cameron!

Gordon is back at Kathy's house since school has started and is the happiest little guy in the world. In fact, when I pick him up from work he pretends to not see me walk in and cries when I take him home. I'm so happy he loves it there. You can see him sitting in his little chair to the far left eating his snacks while Kathy does preschool with the other little kiddos.
