Look at how adorable my room mom decorated my outside door! It's made me smile all week! Super cute and creative!

We went down to the beach today after church to collector some rocks for an art project we are working on for Mother's Day. Gordon was super excited and fond a ton of rocks. When we got home he painted 3 of them and still has about another 100 left. Boy, I sure love this beautiful place we life.

This winter and spring we have not had much rain and are in desperate need of it.  This morning on my run I smiled as I saw these dark clouds, it will probably be an indoor day.

We made it through another tax season and had fun over the weekend celebrating Eric's hard work. We headed to the Cheesecake Factory where we enjoyed a yummy dinner and lots of laughter. I love spending time with these 3!

One of my friends brought me these amazing little pies this week and oh man they are delicious. There is a little pie shop in Encinitas that sells these fun and tasty little treats. Can't wait to get some more! Thank you Deb and thanks Betty's Pie Hole!

This past week Eric and Gordon have been reading out of the Book of Mormon each night. It's super cute to watch Eric teach our son and for Gordon to be so interested and excited. They read a verse or two and then Gordon gets to mark the verse they read in his scriptures. What a lovely thing, I will never tire of seeing this. We are so lucky to have a man like you in our lives Eric!

We all slept through the night last night!!! It's been months and months and months since this has happened. We were up by 6:00 though!

Yesterday morning I was up at 6:00 running on the trails around the house and this was the beautiful sunrise I was able to enjoy.

Gordon: "Mommy, why I have bigger poops than Ruby?"
Me: "I don't know Gordon, what do you think?"
Gordon: "Because I'm bigger, stronger, more powerful, and more squishy!"
Me: "Okay Goosie, you're right, that's probably why."
Gordon: "Yup!"

Gordon: "Mommy, Why I have a Big Boy Bink?"
Me: "Gordon, Honey, I don't think there is such thing as a Big Boy Bink."
Gordon: "Yes there is mommy, look I have one!"
Me: "I'm pretty sure they are just for babies."
Gordon: "No they are not! Big Boys needs Binks too!"

Hopefully by the time he's ready to serve a mission he'll be rid of his bink, in the meantime I going to just enjoy my big boy and his love of Binkies.

While in Santa Rosa over spring break, we got to see Eric's parents and sister several times. The kids and I had a real nice time visiting, laughing, and enjoying these beautiful children.

Any excuse to make mom's sticky buns! General Conference is just the excuse I needed!! The house smelled amazing this morning as we watched the LDS General Conference. Each talk was fantastic and I feel uplifted and renewed!

Elise and I took our kids to the Flower Fields this past week. There was a lot to do there and the kids really liked the wagon ride and the play ground.

The kids and I listened to the first session of the semi-annual general conference for our church today. Gordon got a little general conference prize, a construction building set that I got at a garage sale the other week. He was so excited to build as we listened to the inspired words. This is defiantly one if my favorite times of the year - minus tax season if course. :)

The Museum of Making Music had a little concert for kids this week. The San Diego symphony played and the music was beautiful. We meet a few friends there which was nice. However, the boys were ready to leave after 5 minutes. As we were driving away Gordon says to me, "Mommy let's never go back there again!" I guess it might take a little longer to develop some music appreciation in our house.

Our paper towel shipment came in the other day, 36 rolls to be exact. We are slightly OCD in this household and use way too many rolls but it makes for a good climbing toy/pony when they arrive!

These 2 helped me unpack from our trip up north for spring break. Let's face it they mostly just played in our suitcase.

We got back from a busy day and this little girl fell fast asleep on the living room floor. Precious!
