This girl... is pretty magical. I'm not sure why gave Lily the nickname "Pickles" but it has stuck and the kids even call her it. It's pretty funny. Here she is with her first ice cream drum stick and she is pretty excited about it.
Lily has an obsession with purses and enjoys carrying at least 2 at all times. Here she has 3 in her arm and one around her neck. Love her! Grandma Pat would be proud, grandma always was clutching onto her purse.

Princess Ruby
"Mommy why am I a princess? I love being a princess. I want to be a princess forever." - Ruby
This little princess takes the best care of her babies as well. One of my favorite things to see is how Ruby makes little beds around her room for the babies and tucks them all in. It's sooo cute!

"Mommy, I hope they have princess cleat! Do they have princess cleats?" - Ruby
"I'm not sure they make princess cleats but I'm sure pink will be close enough." - Me
"WHAT?!?" - Gordon

Car Buddies
Generally I don't enjoy traveling in the car with these four little people because the amount of crying and noise does quite a number on me. However, when I'm not in the thick of it all, they sure are darling and I'm grateful we are together.

Warriors Birthday Present
One of my best buddies sent me a Curry jersey because she knows we are big Warriors fans around here. Lily was so cute flexing her muscles as Ruby took our picture. We are already getting excited for this upcoming season.

Wasatch Swim Center
Utah knows how to make indoor pools and swim centers. We seriously went here everyday while we were in Utah. The kids loved going for their daily swim (minus Lily most days). Lily has not shown that she is much of a water baby yet. She still does not love the bath or pools yet. Dallin on the other hand jumps in and is fearless.
Gordon and Ruby were running and jumping through the obstacle course and had a blast.
Dallin is all smiles and laughs in the pool, such a cute little guy.

Hobbler Half Marathon
I have been itching to run another half marathon for a while and was finally able to do it when we were in Utah. The race started early, I think 6:30 but you were suppose to be at the buses around 4:30 to be bused up to the start line. When I got out of my car it said it was 69 degrees. However, by the time we made it up through the canyon it was WAY cooler. In fact, I was FREEZING!!! I was able to stick with the 1:45 pace team for most of the race. I met some really nice people during the race and we talked for most of it. The last few miles I slowed way down but still felt great. I finished in 1:47 which was a time I was happy with. Overall, I really loved the race, the scenery was gorgeous and the race was well organized. I will defiantly sign up for this one again.

More Utah Fun... From the Summer
Seriously I still have so much more to report on from Utah. I love the number of activities there are to do in Utah for kids. We bounced from one swimming pool or museum to the next and it was magical. We went to Thanksgiving Point twice while we were there and the kids loved it.
This was the curiosity museum with all of the water play, very fun and wet!
Oma had the kids painting and coloring at her place and the kids had a blast. Dallin could color and paint all day long if we let him. The only problem is that we can't trust that kid to keep the colors on the paper. The generally end up on his face, shirt, table, walls, floors,s and any other place he can think of.
This little park in Heber City is so great. Cousin Kiefer joined us for one of the Thursday night markets.
Nothing is cuter than having all 4 of your kids take baths together in one tub. I pretty much love this.
Bobbi is the best sport ever! The kids enjoy "tying" her up in the back seat when she sits with them.
This the the Monte L Bean science or "Animal Museum" on the BYU campus that we frequent each year now. Lots of neat animal exhibits to see and best of all it's FREE!
These splash pads are fantastic. It seems like almost every city has an awesome splash pad now. We tried out the Wardle Splash Pad in Bluffdale, Utah and it was amazing.
One of the kids favorite memories of the trip was playing cards with Oma and Opa and "stealing" their candy stash. They thought is was HILARIOUS!!! Luckily, Oma and Opa were good sports and happily let them steal their stash.

Summer League NBA Game
I still have so much more to write about with our Utah trip. We headed to SLC to watch an NBA summer league game at the Huntsman Center. We got to watch the Celtics and the Spurs. It was great to be in the environment and the kids did pretty well considering. Pregame Otter Pops always do the trick, followed by some balloon animals, and popcorn at half time. So glad my parents could join in on the fun with us!
