Heart Shape Shaker Anniversary

 Hello there,

Welcome back to my blog.  It's my turn to share another inspiration project on Die Cut Divas.  The challenge theme this month is: Anniversary/Birthday.

I used Altenew's Mini Delight Expressions of the Heart Stamp & Die for my card.  I die cut using white card stock, then colored the floral bits with alcohol markers.

On a white card base, I aligned a cream colored Pearl finished card panel on top, and passed it thru the die cut machine with a heart shape die.  Next I aligned the sentiment stamp and stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card.
I arranged and adhered the floral bits around the heart shape window on the Pearl finished panel.
Then I created the shaker element by adhering acetate to the card front, applied foam adhesive around the window, filled with sequins, adhere another piece of acetate to enclosed, and then adhered the decorated panel on the very top.  Here's a look of the card when it's open.

Our sponsor this month is Altenew, and the challenge prize will be $30 gift card to their store.

April is Altenew's birthday month, let's celebrate their birthday together.  Grab your favorite craft supplies and make Anniversary/Birthday theme paper craft project with die cut and/or dry embossing and join in the fun.  To link up, go here.

Spring Music

Hi, and welcome back to my blog.  Before I explain anything, let's take a look of my card.

This cute violin image reminds me of a couple pieces of music that has Spring in its title, Spring from Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and Beethoven's Spring Sonata.  I thought this makes perfect sense for Die Cut Diva's March challenge theme: Spring Is Coming.  Thus the birth of this card.

This cute violin image is from the Gina K. Designs' Note Of Encouragement stamp and die bundle.

Gina K Designs, our March sponsor is giving a $25 gift card as the challenge prize.  So don't wait, take your favorite supplies out and play along.  Make any paper craft project(s) for the theme: Spring is Coming (do explain the reasoning of your design), use die cut and/or dry embossing to qualify for the draw.  If you're on social media, use hashtag #diecutdivaschallengeblog so we could find you in the future.  To link up, click the "monthly challenge" button on the right sidebar on Die Cut Divas.

After I've created my card, I wasn't done.  I went ahead and make an art journaling page with a window.

The quote "Spring: the music of open windows" is by Terri Guillemets.
