Today, I met an irritating person at work, during the pre-set up at a carnival. Someone whom I know through a friend, maybe can be considered an acquintance. This person is best at talking big, showing off his "knowledge" and thinks that he is very smart in every other thing. He didnt really bother me that much until today, when he came to talk to me. He saw the banners that my company put up for the carnival and we had a conversation which goes like this.

That person: "eh so what does your company sell?"

Me: "Transmission, shock absorbers, steering axle and all la"

That person (pointing at our banner) said, "seriously, among the 4 brands on the banner, I only know 2 of them.. the rest are so unknown in the market"

Me: "oh isit? they are mainly for continental cars and if im not wrong, you deal more with asian vehicles?"

That person: "oic"

Morale of the story is... If you are not very sure about a certain company, I think it's best that you don't shoot your mouth and embarrass yourself. Im sure if he is someone from this industry, he would have heard of these brands as they are known for the continental cars. But wells, I guess he simply doesnt have enough knowledge about this industry.

Dude, I think you should seriously brush up on them before you shoot your mouth again next time round. Otherwise, you will just end up embarrassing yourself.

Today is Singapore's birthday. Happy National Day!

But it is a totally bad day for me. I wonder when will the peaceful days come again without that person in the picture. It's been a long while since I felt so affected by somebody not worth my time. Even though I know it's not worth my time and effort but still, I cant help it! I know I should move on and get a life but.... =.=

And ya to a certain extent, I think so too. I really dislike the fact that someone went missing and I thought this person was sleeping all the while, only to realise that this person was out with friends all the while. Out of anger, I actually said "I hate you!" to this person. But I do mean it at that point of time. I hate the fact that this person cannot give a confirmation on a simple thing and the fact that this person assumes that I will be on standby 24/7. I thought after such a long while of not staying in contact, perhaps this person has changed for the better but no, I was wrong. I think leopard nvr changes its spot truly is applicable even though "service recovery" was done by saying he would give me a call to catch up. We shall see.

In conclusion, I am still upset and disappointed! :(

I dont know why but I cant seem to memorise or remember the national day songs sang after "Home" by Kit Chan. I think the national day songs are getting tougher by the year, to the extent that I have no idea what the national songs are. Maybe I am just not patriotic enough =p

Anyways, this long weekend is quite boring apart from yesterday. It was a long long day for me. Woke up at 730am and hit the sack at near 4am this morning. >.< Ran some errands in the morning before meeting GCC-2 =) Had dinner and KTV! Hahaha.. Des and I took the night rider home. It was a super long wait! we waited for half an hour or more. *faint* but luckily there was Des la, so the wait was rather entertaining. :p He told me he would be a policeman if he cant be a scientist. hahaha.. I cannot imagine him being a policeman. =x I told him if he really becomes one, im sure he will have alot of enemies. Hahahaha!

Hmm... we've been in constant contact these few days again. Des asked me what is it now. Seriously, im not sure either. Isit friends or? I know what should be done la but u know, its hard to be so decisive when the contact is there. >.< Maybe I will just drift abit for now. I will soon be on track again, Im sure. :)
