inattentive mom!!! Shawn was outside mowing the lawn, Kailee and Austin were playing, Tyson was riding his bike and I thought Kyler was ridin' in his Wiggle car. I was still inside picking up a few things before heading out with everyone...I turned around to look out the front window and this is what I see!!! Kyler climbing the Stop sign!! He thought it was soooo fun and was extremely proud of himself that he could actually touch the red part! He is such a goofball!
Ty riding his bike.Kailee and Austin playing racquetball...like their ball?...you'd think they couldn't miss it...but they chased it down the street quite a few times last night!!Oh that dreaded time of the month...HAIRCUTS!! I cut all the boys hair...not because I am too cheap to pay for it to be done...cuz I would gladly let someone else do it....I just can't find anyone who will do a good job! I always end up coming home to fix it...my OCD gets in the way and I need them to have all the hairs on their heads cut and not have any strays...call me crazy!! Anyway...Austin requested a mohawk...so here is it...he got to have it just long enough for a few pics and then we kept on cuttin'!

Ty and Austin both had projects for school they worked on last week and we polished off over the weekend. Tyson had to make a habitat and include and animal that laid eggs. The anilmal had to be made from a plastic egg, so he decided to make a Toucan in the rainforest. Kailee was a big help but Ty did an awesome job and was super creative with his ideas too!! AND of course he had to add a snake...what project is complete without a snake to make it great!!
Then Austin had a report on Rutherford B. Hayes. He did lots of research and then had to put his info on a strip. He had 4 sections of info...he did a really great job and I learned a few things about our 19th president along the way. Now if I can hang on to any of those little tidbits of info maybe I can appear to be smart next time Austin and I have a battle of wits!! {yeah right!}

Here are some pics from Kyler's birthday party last month. We just invited his 3 closest friends and went to Inflatable Zone and then to McDonalds for lunch and cupcakes! He had a great time...only 4 kids....it was way manageable! I still can't believe my baby is 5!! We are going tomorrow afternoon to sign him up for kindergarten!
