Reason for the absense
My little Mozart
I thought it would be cool to have Riley do the Reflections program at school for the first time. He composed a piece for his violin literally, all by himself! He would play a few notes, stop, I would write them down, and then he would continue until he was finished. He called his piece Come out and Play miazaki {I don't know why} and he ended up winning the Music Composition Category for the whole school! I cannot even express how proud of him I was that night! He was proud of himself too, and it showed me that he really does enjoy music in his life. He loves playing his violin, he loves to dance to music, he LOVES to whistle and sing, and now he likes to come up with his own music. We were watching Harry Potter the other day and he said that he wanted to learn the theme song so he could play it at the school talent show! I wrote out the notes to it, and he learned and memorized it in 1 night! This kid just has a knack for music! I am one proud mom of my little Mozart!

#4
I don't know why I haven't officially announced this on my family blog, but here we go.....
The Fackrell Family is expecting Baby #4!!! We are so excited to have a new little baby come to our family!
What I'm not excited about is being sick, throwing up with any bad smell or sight, back aches and being tired ALL of the time. All of those have already happend to me by the way! I am 12 weeks along, and the due date is May 12th! I had to make a big decision and find a doctor that was closer to our new house! Dr. Smith @ Alta View hospital in Sandy has delivered all 3 of my kids, so to find someone else was not an easy decision, but I didn't want to drive an hour for appointments either! I found a lady doctor at McKay Dee Hospital and am very happy with her so far!
Riley & Sunny are super excited to have this baby come too---Riley is hoping SO bad for a brother to put some more boy power in the family since he is surrounded by girls all day. Sunny doesn't care...I am sure she is just excited to be a little mommy to this baby like she is to elle. Since we still call elle our baby, I don't know if she knows what is going on. In the mean time, I still like to hold her like a baby and call her my baby elle!
So 28 more weeks to go....Oh that sounds like an eternity away!!!!!

Fall time is here!
Here in Utah, we have had an amazing Fall! I always complain that it goes right from Summer to Winter, but this year we have had some amazing Fall days! The first snow on the mountain happened this week, but I think I am okay with it since fall has been prolonged. We carved pumpkins in between Regan being gone! He has been in Wisconsin and Chicago this month, so it seems like we havn't seen him a lot. I took the kids to the Haunted Utah Symphony Concert last night and it was great! All of the kids sat and watched the concert with NO problems! Now we are preparing for the Halloween festivities and excited for Regan to come home tomorrow night!
My Beautiful Princesses
My girls LOVED seeing some of the Disney princesses! I couldn't even believe that Elle was giving them hugs and smiling as big as she possibly could for the pictures! Everyone at Disneyland kept on pointing at my girls and saying how cute they are--I can't argue!
Disneyland 2010
During our California trip, we just had to stop at Disneyland! It was So much fun to be there in the fall! It is so magical to see all of the fall decorations and rides! I think that this is by far my favorite place to take my kids, besides the beach! We had reservations to eat at the Blue Bayou inside the Pirates ride and it did not disapoint! We had delicious monte cristo sanwiches!!!! My favorite ride was of course going on Peter Pan, but a new favorite this trip was the haunted space mountain ride! It was a smooth rollercoaster, so I decided to go on it since Sunny was and just being in the darkness was so cool!
The Haunted Mansion
The Haunted Mansion was transformed for Halloween-it was SO cool to see how they made the ride look totally different! It was the nightmare before Christmas theme, and was Regan's favorite ride!

Happy Birthday Elle
I cannot even believe that Elle is 2 years old today! When she was born, Riley was 4 and Sunny was 2. Now Sunny is 4 and Elle is 2!!! I remember the day she was born, I went into my doctors office without an appointment because I was bleeding and was nervous. Well, that day he told me we were having a baby...so we went to eat at Panda Express, got all of our stuff packed up, took the kids to my mom's house, and went to the hospital. I was induced and started through the laboring for hours and hours while Regan was making phone calls in our room to his customers. Finally, after many hours of being in labor, the doctor broke my water, I started on pitocin, and the action finally began. Elle was born around 10 pm, and I remember being SO tired that I just wanted to hold her and then go to sleep. The next day when my parents brought Riley and Sunny to see their new baby sister was the BEST! The only thing that was not so great was having Elle be a surprise baby...since we already had a boy and girl, we didn't find out what she was. It was NOT like the movies where the doctor says...it's a girl...it's a boy! Nobody said anything and I thought I saw a boy...Needless to say I was wrong. I said to Regan, "It's a boy!" and he said, "No, it's a girl!" I was so confused so we will not be doing that again!
We are SO glad to have our sweet little Elle in our family! She makes LIFE SO HAPPY! Her cute smile, laugh and sweet demeanor. She is just so pleasant to be around and she makes our family so happy! Elle is going to have a Pinkalicious birthday today! She already got her pinkalicious 4 wheeler that she has been riding all morning, but more pinkalicous surprises are in store for our little girl!!!

School Girls
Now that Sunny goes to Preschool, Elle thinks she needs to go too! On Sunny's first day of school, Elle got her own bag and wanted to stay at Preschool SO bad with Sunny! The 2 little girls are just best friends!

BFF's
These girls are totally Best Friends! They LOVE to play with each other, tease each other, and just be with each other! They are seriously the cutest girls ever!!! Elle wants to do EVERYTHING Sunny does! When we practice the violin every morning, Elle has to get her tiny violin and bow and copy what Sunny is doing. This morning when Sunny was getting ready for her 1st day of Preschool, Elle had to get dressed right when Sunny did and have a bag on her shoulder like Sunny did. They are just SO cute together!!! Ahhh--I love these girls!!!

My 1st Race
This is my running background: When I was at Ricks College, the gym teacher said that in order to pass the class, you had to run a mile by 15 minutes! I literally passed the finish line at 14:59! Barely passed the class!
Now rewind 12 years later. I have had 3 children, gained weight, and am in a totally different place than when I was in college! I ran 13.1 miles with a decent time-my minute per mile averaged 11 minute miles, and I did 13 miles-not just 1. Back then, I looked out for me...I had no kids! Now I have 3 huge responsibilities and acheived this milestone!
I was teary eyed a few times throughought the race. Out of nowhere, I started tearing up when a random group of people started cheering me on and saying I could do it! The next time was when I was coming to the finish line and saw my family and friends cheering me on!
Now, I am training for 2 more 1/2 marathons! In October, I will be doing the Park City Pink 1/2 with my awesome friend Manon who just had her baby. The second will be with some Herriman friends, my brother and my new South Weber friend in St. George, Sand Hollow 1/2!
Now you are probably wondering about the whole bloody shoe pictures! Well, I went to Wasatch Running Company a few times to make sure I got the right shoe. Well, throughout my training, I had major problems with blisters! On race day, I thought I would be okay since I had mole skin on my blisters, but NO!!! My feet were rubbing again creating the blisters to bleed and my toes were rubbing against each other creating even more blood! I noticed at mile 3 that I was bleeding, so I had to go 10 more miles with more and more blood on my shoe!!! I felt a huge sense of accomplishment though because I did not stop once during the race! I was pretty proud of myself!
