As I watch my three kids head out the door to trick-or-treat in the 'hood, I am deeply reminded of just how blessed my life is. Watching all three of them holding hands, walking down the sidewalk, skipping as they go, absolutely melts my heart. Now ages 15, 11, and 2, I know these moments will be gone in a flash, drifting away like the wind on a cool Fall night. In 2 1/2 yrs my oldest will be off to college, the 11 yr old a freshman in HS, and the baby starting Kindergarten (scary). Life is short, it's sweet, it's fleeting, enjoy it.
My thanks goes out to Meredith for a fabulous workout in the gym today, thank you thank you thank you...I needed that. :) I actually felt more energized after that workout than tired, it really felt good to burn off some steam and get those endorphins flowing! I look forward to many more great sessions.
The 60 min ride on the trainer was great this morning, I was able to finally watch most of the season finale of Project Runway! Love that show, kept me on the bike longer than I had planned on riding. Looking forward to a progressive run tomorrow, hopefully not too much of a muddy one either.

5K....
Sunday's 5K was fun! It's been soooo long since I've run a 5K that I nearly forgot what to do! For the first mile I kept telling myself that I was going out to fast and I needed to slow down, then I realized that there's only 2 miles left, then it occurred to me that I shouldn't go slow because I was almost done, then I decided to sprint since it was my last half mile! Wow, it was so short! Great race, lots of fun, all the Bull City folks and a way for me to support Nella's Rockstars!!
