The Rudd Family

Harbor isn't much on being rocked to sleep anymore.  He likes to read a few books, say our prayers, and then be put in his crib.  It makes me very sad that he doesn't want to be rocked but happy that he is becoming an independent little boy.  BUT, there is that rare occasion that he will cuddle in my arms and lay his head on my chest and let me rock him.....I LOVE IT!!  and I soak every second of it in because I don't know when the next time he will "hold me".  Well, that happened last night....he might of had a stomach ache from all the ice cream he had, but i will take rocking my baby boy to sleep anyway I can get it.  I find myself singing to him as we rock.  I don't have a go to song but I think I might now.  This was what I found myself singing to my sweet Harbor last night and I think it is perfect.  It is a Dixie Chicks song, Godspeed.

So, I have decided to try this blog thing.  I have never thought that I was very good at expressing my thoughts, but I am going to give it a go and see what happens.  I am not sure the direction that I want to take this blog....so it might just be all over the place.  I do know that I want to keep everyone up to date on our family and some of the day to day activities that we get into.  Ok, so that is all I have for now.  Wish me luck!  I hope I am not boring :)  Happy Tuesday!!
