May happenings

Noah being silly

Karly in her new sunglasses my cousin Katie bought her.

Noah as Washingham (Abraham) Lincoln as he says it, my mom brought this costume back from her trip to Atlanta. I think he makes a pretty cute Abe.

The Live Studio 5 Show. I had so much fun. I didn't realize how quick the show actually is because you don't see the commercials.

My cousin and I at the Live show of Studio 5.

Preschool Graduation

Noah has the best preschool. I am so impressed with their program. The students are very prepared when they enter Kindergarten. In fact I took him to Kindergarten round up and he passed with flying colors. His preschool is in a Presbyterian church and one of his teachers is the pastors wife. I'm so glad I found out about it. When I signed him up. I had to wait in a 2 hour line just to get him it. But I must say it was well worth it. The teachers are really good and know how to get on the children's level. They really care about their students.

Noah was in a play for his preschool graduation. He was a dog who ate all these animals and made all the sounds of the animals he ate. The doctor had to get all the animals out of him so he would bark like a dog again. He was quite a little actor. We're very proud of him.

He received his cap and diploma. He is so proud of his cap that he has been struttin' his cap around our house all day long.

My preschool graduate. I can't believe he is 5??? REALLY where does the time go?? Is he really going to be in Kindergarten next year???

I'm a BIG girl now!!

Today is a BIG day in our household. Karly is POTTY TRAINED!!!! I couldn't be prouder of my BIG GIRL NOW!! We have been working extra hard with her. She still has accidents but I think she is really starting to get it. This Princess potty and potty chart saved us. She LOVES her princess potty and she loves to put doggies and butterflies on her potty chart. Today was the first day she went poop in the potty. Yes I said poop and I couldn't be happier to be saying it. We've been working with her for about 2-3 weeks now.At first you think they will never learn. But with some persistence it's starting to pay off. I never thought she would poop but it finally happened. I 'll  be so happy to not have to buy diapers as frequently, just at night. It should save us some mulah. Well I'm off to buy a La La Loopsy Karly's request for pooping in the potty. I know it's not the last accident. So proud of my little girl.

Easter

My kids love this time of year. With the egg dying and Easter egg Hunts. They can't get enough of all the goodies they get. Noah loved dying eggs. Karly was a little scary. I was worried she would dye her clothes. Noah was a trooper and thought it was so neat to see all the eggs turn different colors. Did you know that if you put oil in the egg dye it makes the eggs spotted? It makes the eggs turn kid of like Tye dye.  Noah thought it was the coolest thing ever.  This year the Easter Bunny left white foot prints on our floor. Boy do I have some true believers in the Easter Bunny.

Karly and Noah look so exquisite in their Easter apparel my mom bought them for Easter.

Girls Just Want to Have FUN!!

Karly wanted me to take some pictures of her posing. This is how she poses. She tilts her head to the side and puts her little hand up to her cheek. She loves the camera.

Baby Animal Days.

My kids loved Baby Animal Days!! Karly is a fanatic when it comes to animals. She squeezes them so tight that I worry she is going to hurt them. She was in seventh heaven. She got to pet so many animals. She held a baby rabbit and chick. The weather was a little dreary but other than that it was a pretty good day. When Karly held the chick she scared me because she was squeezing it so tightly ( I don't think she knows her own strength).

My kids got to pet a baby bear. Karly and Noah were able to hold pet rabbits. Karly thought it was hers to keep and she wouldn't let me give it back to the owner.
