Preschool Graduation

Preschool Graduation for the 2nd time. I held Noah back from Kindergarten because I just didn't think he was ready as far as maturity. He was born 3 1/2 months early. Even though he is 6 he wouldn't have been 6 until June if things had went right. Then he would have been a summer birthday and I truly feel like boys do better in school if they're a little bit older. So I felt like the best choice was to repeat preschool. So that is exactly what we did and I don't regret it at all. He is starting to read. He is more mature. He knows so much more than he did a year ago. Noah is a smart kid, we didn't hold him back because of intelligence. Noah just needed another year to mature and be as ready as he can for school.
Noah the tallest one in class. His best buddy was the little boy standing next to him (the shortest kid in class) :)

Noah and his two teachers. He has been telling me for weeks how excited he was for preschool to end. Then he wouldn't have to go anymore and he could get his graduation hat. So he could be like his Aunt Heather (that recently graduated from nursing). Then today all I've heard is how he misses preschool and wishes he could go back. How are his teachers ever going to remember him?How he is going to miss his friends and how is he ever going to see them again. ( The grass is always greener on the other side).

Gymnastics..... Trophy Day!

Noah has been counting down the days until he can recieve his trophy. Guess what today was? Trophy day. Noah was so ecstatic all he could think about was getting that trophy. He now is carrying it around our house and he won't let it out of sight. I think he might sleep with it tonight. :)
Before he could get the trophy though he had to show us all the things he has learned in gymnastics. He really has gained a lot of strength and coordination.

Karly couldn't stand that Noah was getting all the attention so she wanted me to take a picture of her too.

Woo Hoo No Training Wheels

N can finally ride his bike with no training wheels. He actually caught on really quick. It only took us about 3 times to get him going. He was really nervous at first but he has caught on quickly. He can even start without a push from me. I know he probably should have started doing it sooner but I'm the type that wants them to stay little forever. Just another milestone. Now all he wants to do is ride that bike 24-7. Thank goodness for nice weather.
