Babysitting Sleepover

Joaquin and I got to babysit for some good friends of ours, the Leib's. We watched their son Hudson saturday and sunday. We had our first sleep over with an infant. I was a little nervous because I've never had a baby sleep over before. At least not when the babies parents wern't there with them. We first picked him up on saturday morning and brought him home and he is such a good sleeper that when we got home, he took a nap for about 2 1/2 hours. Once he got up I just fed him and played with him. He's a really big boy. Sunday we took him to sacrament meeting with us and it was a little difficult having him with us but we figured it out. If he got fussy at all, he just blended in with the rest of the jungle of baby noises. I think he's 9 months and weighs 25lbs! Holy moly, that's a big baby. We really did have a good time. Joaquin had his first diaper experience and it was a good one. He didn't have to deal with any poopy diapers. I did all of that but he's never put a diaper on a baby before so I let him have a try at it and it was interesting. I couldn't help but laugh. He asked me which side of the diaper is the front and which side goes on the back. I guess that's the difference between men and women. Women grow up babysitting and loving babies and Men don't care much about them until they have their own. ;) Anyway, I figured I should update our blog with something because I haven't in a while. We only have 3 more weeks until we go to California and I can't wait! It's going to be a time to remember!!!

We need some advice-

I was just wondering if there is anyone who might be able to help with some advice. We're going to NYC this summer and I want to make the most out of our time there but I'm not sure the cheapest way to go about it. For example, we want to go to a show but I don't know if it's better to purchace the tickets this early in advance or to just wait and see if we can get discounted tickets there. We'd also like to some really good restaurants. Any advice? It would be really appreciated.
