Carrot Time!

Mr. T Man tried some carrots tonight... I think he looks kind of cute in orange! He liked it but he had kind of an upset tummy tonight so he didn't get to eat too much of it. But from the looks of it, he will enjoy eating! Steven and I look at these pics and he just makes our hearts skip a beat. We are so thankful for this precious baby boy.

Pool Update

We've FINALLY made some good progress on the pool. We have the flagstone coping around the edges and its tiled... and we have the waterfall! It turned out great. That was the one feature we were really worried about and we insisted that it look a certain way. We think it turned out great! We added a flat rock in it so that the kids could jump off of it (we know they will anyways, might as well make it kid-friendly). The decking should be starting soon, which I'm super excited about. We will have over 1000 sq ft of p-gravel decking! We can finally use our HUGE backyard!
In the pics of the waterfall, the grout looks dark but it just hasn't dried yet.

Travis 4 Month Update...

Travis had his 4 month update this week- the big boy is huge!!!
He weighs 19 pounds, 3 ounces and 26 inches long. NO- thats not a typo. He is 95% in everything across the board! She said he looks great- very healthy and happy kiddo.
Here are some things he's doing:
* He says mama everytime he's crying- he must know that will work everytime I hear it!
* He now says dadadadadada... its so cute. He says it loud and proud too!
* He talks NON-STOP. He is just like Kaylie in that sense- always ohhhhh and awwing. He also says what sounds like "Gayyyyyyy" alot too. So funny.
* I've let him cry himself to sleep the last 2 nights- and its been tramatic for me. I can't stand to hear him cry but it takes 20-30 minutes and he's out. I know he's fine but it still gives me anxiety to hear him cry.
* He loves to stand up- if you give him your hands, he will pull himself up to stand.
* He loves it when you lean him back on your lap- after you pull him back up, he throws himself back for more.
* He's in a size 3 diaper and size 9 months-12months in clothes.
* He's a snuggle bug. He loves to be held, esp by me. He gets mad at Steven because I don't think Steven snuggles him the way that he likes so he will scope the room until he finds me and start yelling at me.

This child is such a blessing... I just look at him and can't believe he is my precious son that I prayed for for so long. Thank you God for blessing me with this unbelievable little miracle- I'm forever grateful.

Pics of Pool

Here they are...

Its started!!!

They have started the pool this morning- bright and early- at 7am!!! My kind of workers! I am taking pics and will post in a bit. I'm sure they think I'm nuts, I've already taken like 30 and they've only been here 45 minutes!!

Taking the Plunge...

Well, we have decided that we are going to stay put in our house (I know some of you are laughing at this because we tend to change our minds every other day about what we are doing). So...
We are getting a pool! So very excited! We've been talking and talking about it for the last 6 months and Steven decided it was a bad time to do it but the more we've talked about it and the more we sit on it, the better the decision we think it is!
They will break ground next Monday and it should take about 45 days to finish, just in time for birthday parties at the Fiedler House.
Here is a picture of our yard prior to building... and a picture of the design we went with. Nothing super fancy but it will be a blast!!!
