Boy or Girl?
That is definitely our question right now. The kids (and parents) are anxiously awaiting the news for this one. But my midwife won't do an ultra sound until after 20 weeks. So we are still waiting.. Ugh.. 2 1/2 more weeks. Most of the kids think it would be so much fun to even out the boy v. girls ratio, but we still have a couple of little girls who would love to have another sister.. As for Matt and I, we really don't care. We just want a healthy baby and will be happy either way! It will just be nice to start calling this baby ( who is already kicking up a storm) a name. We are so Excited!!!!
Anyway, my mom called me the other day to tell me about a test she saw advertise that predicts the gender. Ofcourse, I went and got it.. Hee hee :)
It said a boy! So we will see!
But honestly, I think it was just the drano test that someone had packaged up to make look more appealing and to make a lot of money on. I did the drano test a couple of months back with the same result-boy! Along with every other "old wives tales" predctions, we should be having a boy! We will See! But it is fun to play this guessing game. Especially for the kids!
Triple A's first year of Baseball...
Triple A has always done soccer in the spring but this year decided to do baseball. He has proven to be great at it. He is one of the catchers and totally loves the pressure of it. He has a great manager ( good friend of ours..) who has really taught him the correct way to do everything from the start. He is LOVING it!

Easter and Daddy is home!
(This Picture Cracks me up because my three younger A's have punch smiles! Hee Hee)
So, after all of my complaining about the yucky spring weather, we were given a real gift yesterday. The weather was amazing! And our second gift was Daddy came home! We were not sure if he would make it or not. He worked between 15 and 18 hour days while he was gone so he could get home for Easter. We were so excited! The moment the kids knew his plane had landed they were waiting outside! I don't think there could have been more excitement!
We decorated eggs a couple of days ago while matt was gone. Always a messy but fun thing....
Hunting eggs!
The Egg Hiders.. Sneaky little guys! :)
Spending the rest of the day with Daddy!

I am a lucky mother....
Matt has had to travel alot lately... This last bit he has been gone for a week. We are hoping that his testing goes as planned and he will get to come home tomorrow. We miss him! But we still have to keep doing things while he is gone, not as much fun but still it all had to be done. We just have to get creative on how to make everything work. So one day this week we had 3 practices and a track meet across town... Luckily Big A made it home before I needed to leave for the track meet so I left him and Little A at home while I took Triple A to baseball (I needed Big Ato be home when Triple A 's coach brought him home for me..Confusing , huh?) and Tiny A and I headed for the track meet to watch Triple A. Well, when we got home there was a sign on the door that said "Alec and Audrey's Grill" we walked in to a clean house and to be greeted by a very cute waitress and were seated at our table. Next we were handed menus and brought out drinks. The meal was amazing and included a "to die for cake" for dessert. But the most amazing thing to me about this night is that my 14 year old and 7 year old pulled this off and had a blast doing it. And they did it to ease some of the craziness of running around I was feeling. I really am the luckiest mom ever!!!! Boy, Heavenly Father sent me some real treasures!
Tiny A's heart!
Okay, so Tiny A has the sweetest heart ever, but this post is about her heart and its troubles. She was born with 3 holes in her heart and has been seeing a cardiologist since she was 1 week old. So far things have been great. Two holes closed up on their own and the 3rd became small enough that it should not cause her any problems.. So when she was 2 years old she was cleared as healthy and that we did not need to return unless our pediatrician felt otherwise. Well I took her last month for her 4 year old check up and our doctor noticed she had an irregular heartbeat.. It was off enough that we were sent back to the cardiologist... More ultrasounds of her heart were done and she was sent home with a heart halter to wear for 24 hrs. It was fun the first day. But was completely itchy and miserable the 2nd day as we waited for 2:30 to roll around so we could take it all off. She was a trooper and made it through. We returned the halter and since we have not heard anything we are assuming it is like the cardiologist presumed and really not a big deal. We are praying that is so..
Spring...
So, this has been a very strange, very cold spring! I want flowers and warm short weather! It seems like we have a warm day followed by a week of cold and snow showers then another warm day.. Come on Spring, We are ready!
But even though the weather doesn't seem to cooperate, we seem to keep doing everything pretty much the same. Lots of track meets for Big A and Double A ( all with the wind feeling like it was blowing you off the bleachers and us all cuddled under blankets) But they have both had great track seasons. So fun to watch!
Baseball and soccer have started up so lots of practices and games... Of course, loving this, too! Just always seems to be windy and cold...:(
