Christmas Cookies 2009

I just couldn't let a year go by without posting our traditional cookie making pictures. This is a tradition passed down from my family and was always one of my favorite things growing up. My kids and husband love it just like me!!

Easton and Seth at their School Christmas Program 2009

Seth and Easton always do such a wonderful job at their annual Christmas Program. They always say that they don't care if I come and watch them, but when they see me their faces light up! I love to go and see the things they learn and how they excel at all they do. I love my boys!

11 Awesome years with the one I love 10-30-2009

I know this pic is so blurry but it's the only one I have. Calli watched our kids for us while we went out. It is so nice and rare to get away with no children and yet in these last 11 years my most precious blessings have been those of my husband and children. I cannot be thankful enough for my wonderful husband Ryan and the 4 beautiful little ones we have. I love my man, I love my kids and I love my life. What more is there to say - except I can't wait for all of the wonderful moments and memories to come.

Deer Hunt Fall 2009 (yes 2009)

We just hurried up to a spot -I think it was the last day of the rifle hunt-to see if we could get lucky. We found does but no bucks. I think the kids had a fun time on the Rhino and 4-wheeler. It was quick and we knew we probably would'nt be lucky enough to get one in the few hours we went out, but I really hope one day soon the boys can be with their dad when he does get one. I think this was Cole's first hunt to go out on!! I know we saw some other animals, but it's been so long ago now I can't remember what they were. Love to be in the outdoors with my husband and kids.

Fall is in the Hair.........

Maybe people won't ask me where my red headed children came from anymore!!!

2nd and 4 and no I'm not talking Football....

it's actually the grades these two are in this year, and today was their first day. I am actually missing these two alot. They both got put in classes with some of their best friends so hopefully that will make the year a little more fun. They help me out so much with their little bro., so I really notice when they are gone. I love them so much and they are getting so big. Here's to another great year. I know they always look like they wear the same things every year and for any of you who don't know that is because they have to wear uniforms.

August 3, 2009- Another Year Older

I don't like birthdays anymore-except for the fact that it is an excuse to have family over for food and that is exactly what I did. Some of my favorite people came by to celebrate including my mom, Calli, Ryan, Max, Luke, Carrie, Addie, Kelsey, Debbie, Lance, and Eli. My wonderful husband made delicious steak, chicken, and turkey on the bbq and everyone brought wonderful food to go with it. Calli made a delicious German Chocolate cake and brownies. I also had a great mail day with cards and gift cert.'s from my Gram and Melissa and Debbie. My wonderful VT partner brought me flowers and my kids drew me pics and made me cards also. My mom and sisters gave me a fun gift cert to a favorite clothing store and wonderful hand soaps and my hubby gave me an r-rated card and money to spend on whatever. It was a great evening and my favorite part was the company of some of loved ones. Thanks to all who came and to all who gave birthday wishes through phone calls or over the computer. I love you all and you made it a special day even though the thought of turning another year older isn't always the best.

July 28, 2009- Little Sarah has Surgery

Her tonsils and adenoids must come out. She has never been able to sleep very well and just sitting there you can hear her deep breathing. Her doctor said her risk of getting a blockage is higher than the risks involved with the surgery. I didn't take my camera so we bought one of those disposables. When we get it developed I will post pics and tell more about the experience. It is August 7 and she is still healing. She has done great and I think she is finally getting sick of mac and cheese, spaghetti noodles, meat and ice cream. She wants some crackers and chips. Hopefully the little white patches will come off cleanly and we won't have any bleeding. We still have out fingers crossed until that happens. I sure hope it won't be hard to get her to sleep back in her own room when she is all better. She likes her little makeshift bed on the floor in our bedroom.

Finally -pics frm Sarah's surgery

I stayed by her almost the entire time except for the few times we went to the toy room. I even stayed by her side through the night- I didn't really sleep at all because I was so worried about her bleeding and I had to rearrange her IV cord every time she turned over in the night.

She got to take home a new blankie, cat in
the hat, and a sesame street pillow case.

Her carriage ride out.

Getting to do a bead craft she waited so long for
Like I stated in an earlier post, I didn't take my camera to the hospital with me so I had to use one of those little disposable cameras-thank goodness for digital. They didn't turn out great, but it's all I've got. I just realized too that the ones I took of all of her visitors must not have turned out because they were not developed. Thanks to all of her wonderful visitors in the hospital including Calli, Max, Luke, Nana, Brothers, Daddy, and Eli. Also thanks to Aunt April for the big fishy balloon, Aunt Dani and Ben for the puppy and ice cream, Danica for the elephant necklace and colorful ball, Nana for watching the kids and for the coloring book, colors, soft lips, and overnight bag and everyone else who stopped by to check on little Sarah or prayed for her recovery. She had her post op and everything looks great. Hopefully easier breathing and less snoring is here to stay!!
