Got this from my friend Stephanie's blog...as I am itching to print a blog book...finally, I realized how cool these little survey things are going to be to have included... So here you go.. Fish Family 2009!!
1. What did you do in 2009 that you had never done before?
-Took a picture EVERY day for the year 2009. I am in the process of putting them in layouts so I can have a 2009 book printed.
-Got OVER the wake while wakeboarding. I usually panic and fall accidentally/on purpose cuz it scares me!
2. Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions and do you intend to make any for 2010?
-I dont remember making any specific resolutions. I think I have finally given up, I ALWAYS break them.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
-My brother Jed and his wife had their first baby in August....stinkin cute.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
-Yes. We lost Marcus' Grandma Hazel in June.
5. What countries did you visit?
-Just here this year... The Gorge, St George, Las Vegas...
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you didn't have in 2009?
-Hmmm....a scanner. I would love to have a scanner so I can get all those old pics digital!!
7. What dates will be etched into your memory from 2009 and why?
-July 15...Marcus turned 30!! The old fart.
-September 8...Marissa started Kindergarten, Sniff.
-June 1...I started working for the first time in almost 12 years.
8. What is your biggest achievement of the year?
-Finally catching up on some scrapbooking. Thank you Shutterfly!!
9. What is your biggest failure?
-I dont know. I dont like to think about that. Ha. Prob being impatient.
10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?
-No. We have all been healthy. Thank goodness!!
11. What is the best thing you bought?
-Our Journey. I love that thing....
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
-Everyone. Marissa for being a trooper and taking all-day Kindergarten in stride and doing so so well at it. Brady for being such a good helper and such a fun, honest kid. Kenna for getting straight A's on her first semester report card and for being an awesome big sis and helping with the kids so much. My Marcus for working his tooshie off everyday...(and unfortunately, I do mean EVERY day) He is awesome.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled or depressed?
-Have you watched CNN lately? There is always something on that totally bums me out.
14. Where did most of your money go?
-House...Bathroom remodel....
15. What did you get really excited about?
-Summer. Always. Love it.

16. What songs will remind you of 2009 and why?
-Hotel Motel Holiday Inn... ? Can't think who it is by though, and Black Eyed Peas....Boom Boom Pow
17. Compared to last year...
a. happier or sadder?
Im always happy.
b. thinner or fatter?
Thinner halle-freaking-luah!!
c. richer or poorer?
Eh...more coming in but more going out.
18. What do you wish you had done more of?
-Vacations. ha ha. Running....at least staying consistent with it. I seem to be all or nothing when it comes to that...and most things I guess.
19. What do you wish you had done less of?
-Internet. Seriously. I wouldn't need a maid if I spent half the time I did cleaning as I did on the computer. Marcus would totally fall over if he saw I wrote that. lol.
20. How did you spend Christmas?
-Home. Awesome. Marcus' parents and Missy came and that made it really nice.
21. Did you fall in love in 2009?
-Everyday
22. What was your favorite TV program?
-Fav? Prob UFC, Desperate Housewives and CSI:Las Vegas. They are the only 3 that don't sit on the DVR for months.
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate at this time last year?
-No.
24. What is the best book you read?
-Lots. I read a lot. Can't even remember. Uhh...
25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
-These are hard. Way...make you think. I am thinking Robin Thicke. I love him.
26. What did you want and get?
-I get pretty much whatever I want. I am kinda spoiled.
27. What did you want and not get?
-Nothing I can think of.
28. What was your favorite film this year?
-The Blindside. Loved that show. The Hangover is right there as well.
29. What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
-Traveled to St George. I turned 29.
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
-Stealing for Steph... a maid! How much nicer life would be. ;O)
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept of 2009?
-Better. Ha ha. I had a life-altering experience.
In May I spent the day home cleaning. After said cleaning that took ALL DAY we went to the baseball field for Brady's game. I wish I could say that I didn't usually leave the house with little or no make-up on and wearing my sweats...but that would have been a lie. So here I am at the game hanging out. Not that big of deal... I should have been embarrassed, but I wasn't. Then Marcus tells me he wants to get get dinner. Sure. Lets go. I was thinking picking up Wendy's, but then he pulls into Fiesta's parking lot. Still, I go in. Well, my SIL Sam was there doing her goodbye dinner with some girls from work. I meet Mindy and Brandy for the first time looking extra lovely. Nice. Embarrassed? Yes...definitely getting there, but not quite.
The very next day, I went into the bank where Brandy and Mindy work so that I can drop off a resume and talk to Keith. Of course, I am NOT wearing sweats, nor a pony and I have make-up on. I pass Brandy and say hello. Brandy had to do a DOUBLE TAKE!! Yep. Officially embarrassed. So so sad. I have officially gotten ready everyday since then. I dont run even to Maverik in sweats. I have to say, that I feel better. :O) Who knew?
32. What kept you sane?
-Books, Bubble baths, and Marcus.
33. What celebrity did you fancy the most?
-Ugh. I tried for Carrie Underwood hair. Didn't get it.
34. What political issue stirred you the most?
-Not going there.
35. Who do you miss?
-Liah, who is in Afghanistan. My Sammy who moved. :O( All the fam we don't see as often as we would like.
36. Who was the best person you met?
-Lots of fun girls at work.
37. Valuable life lesson learned in 2009?
-Wait a few seconds after the light changes before hitting the gas.
38. What is the one thing you said this year that you never thought you'd say?
-Wouldn't you like to know. ;O)
39. What was the one thing you heard that you never thought you would hear?
-That I got a job.... Always thought I would just be a SAHM, but I really love my job.
40. What do you anticipate will be the biggest change in your life in 2010?
-Who knows, but I am itching for some change.
