Mayday.

I am sitting at my computer, trying to stay out of the way while movers are packing our house. My SIL Breezy told me to update instead of shopping on Etsy… So after downloading almost 1000 pictures taken over the last 3 weeks, here we go. :) It is taking 3 different post entries to completely caught up. Geesh!!

The kids’ last soccer games of the year. We have played in rain and snow and even got a little sun. This also happened to be Brady’s 8th Birthday. So crazy. He absolutely LOVES soccer. He has a great team and is really fun to watch. DSC_0004 DSC_0006 DSC_0007 DSC_0008

Kenna also is loving soccer this year. She is an aggressive little bugger which makes it that much more fun to watch.

After soccer games, we headed for the Civic Center for Brady’s birthday party. We went swimming and had cake and presents. He had a blast and got a bunch of cool stuff. I was a mean mom and only let him open 2 out of the packaging once we got home…that is a lot of little nerf gun pieces to lose.

B’s cake Auntie Breezy made. It was awesome and delicious.

On Marissa’s 6th birthday I took her to work with me in the morning. She got a card and presents from the girls at work… It was awesome of them. She loves them.

She didn’t have her party until Memorial Day, but she got to open her present from us…a pink DS. She is so so excited. So is Kenna, now she doesn’t have to share hers.

Ken has also been working hard on her project and report for school. She was stressing because it was worth so much of her grade…she did it on Emperor Penguins and did a great job! Way to go Kenna!

Saturday of Memorial Weekend, Jed came home from Afghanistan! Kenna and I left Logan, where we were staying with Grandma and Grandpa in the Blue house to head to Camp Williams to see him.

It was awesome. The last time Jed had seen Damien, he was about 8 weeks old. He is almost 10 months now and has changed quite a bit. I was so glad that I was able to see Jed see his family. It was an awesome thing.

While we were at Grandma and Grandpa in the Blue House, one of my BFF, Brenda, and her 2 kiddos came to visit. It was great chatting with her. I am bummed that we didn’t make it a point to do it more often…esp since we are moving across the country. Marissa and Ellie had a blast playing together for a few hours.

I was woken up around 8 Sunday morning to Grandma telling me that Kenna was hurt. She was trying to land a front flip on the trampoline and when her feet hit the tramp, they bounced back and she kneed herself in the face. A trip to instacare and 4 stitches later we were good to go. Poor thing.

I took the boys over the the hillside where our ‘hut’ used to be. It is still there…way rundown and not near as big or as far off the road as it used to seem to be, but was cool visiting it again.

Grandpa fills his hummingbird feeders every morning. Those birds are fast and it was fun watching them.DSC_0298 DSC_0300 DSC_0297 DSC_0597

They also got a new puppy named Tasha. She is adorable and if the kids could catch her, they loved her to pieces. She is a shy one.DSC_0600 DSC_0588

While we were in Logan, Marcus was making the trip cross country with the truck so we can pull the boat back. He actually made crazy time and beat me home by a day!  He was able to be there for Miss Riss’s birthday party. We went bowling in Green River. It was a lot of fun and once again, her cake rocked.

Last Day of School…Field Day. Marcus and I went to watch for a minute and Marcus ended up helping with some Tug a War. The girls had beat the boys everytime. With a few adults in the mix, the girls still won. lol.

We made the trip to Elko/Spring Creek for Missy’s graduation from High School. It was awesome and so good to see so much family. Way to go Missy Moo!!

And since she is “Moo” to us, we thought a cow bell to ring would be appropriate.

We played a mean game of kickball. It was a blast. If you haven’t played lately, you should. It was a lot of fun.

On our way home from NV, we stopped for the night in Salt Lake so we could hang out with Jed, Chelsea and Damien who were all still in Salt Lake for Drill. After a yummy dinner at Olive Garden, we went swimming at our pool. Damien LOVES the water. He is so stinking cute!
