I noticed it was being moody. SLOW. Computer scan showed crazy viruses that I would clean off only to have them return. I was afraid to download pictures onto it. If I lost them I would be soooo sad! So one of Marcus employees does computer stuff on the side. He came and got my computer and I haven't seen it since. Haha! You’d think he'd want to hurry and fix the bosses computer.. but months later I've heard nothing. Maybe Marcus needs to threaten him. I'm sure its fine. Works been busy for all of them, so I'm sure that the last thing he wants to worry about. But since I refuse to have TWO Florida vacations to blog about, I am downloading onto Kenna’s laptop. Blogger really just needs a more user friendly ap so I can just do it from my phone/pad. That would be fabulous….
Anyways. These are the first pictures on my camera. Sean’s 3rd birthday. In MARCH! Its weird seeing how short Sean's hair is. This was right when Marcus was getting a hair cut and decided to clip Sean's. Right down the middle with a #3 attachment. I was so sad! Its weird how little he looks. It was just a few months ago! And Marissa hair so long… wowzers.
Kenna made his awesome cake. It was fabulous. Friends and neighbors came to party and play. The Hulk was def a theme. He's obsessed. I cant believe he's already 3. And since its been months since he actually turned three, I cant remember specifics. So well go with what's happened lately. Three plus a little. He's little, 26 pounds, size 6-7 shoe, 2T clothes. Not a huge vocabulary, but gets what he wants. Was Hulk obsessed. Now he rotates between Hulk, Scooby and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Thanks to Teresa). He loves trucks. Bigger the better. He sleeps with his Teddy and at least 3 trucks every night. He knows which he wants to sleep with and uses it to procrastinate bedtime…sending Marcus and I on a wild hunt thru the house to locate the truck he's requesting…He is sassy and independent. Strong willed and energetic. Has absolutely not fear or stranger danger. He gives the best hugs. He is utterly exhausting. And he was the best decision we’d made…. well since Marissa.
We had a HORRIBLE winter. Seriously. We had 18 snow days. 18!! We basically missed the entire month of January. Even the kids were sick of the snow and ready to go back. We needed the break. Our awesome neighbor has a winter home in the Orlando area they let us use for Spring Break. It was heavenly. We had absolutely not plans other than hanging out. It wasn’t as warm as I would have liked, but it wasn’t snowing. So we were happy. We visited both coasts. Cocoa Beach on the ocean side and Clearwater Beach in the Gulf. Heaven. Ill admit it was REALLY hard driving past Disney and not going. But was busy, we have that age gap that’s hard. Kenna is scared of mascots… So I'm glad we passed. Just relaxed and enjoyed.
Cocoa Beach.
I got online to see which Gulf beach we wanted to visit. When I found Clearwater Beach, I was excited! It was where Winter the dolphin lived. Where A Dolphin Tale, the movie, was filmed and based from. Even found this sea safari! Whoo! We would go out into the ocean, they did a net pull to show the kids the critters. Sounded awesome. I bought the tickets. $120 for a ride in a pontoon boat. It was FREEZING, and it didn’t even include entrance into the aquarium. Fail. Plus Winter wasn’t even there, we would have had to go to a different location to see her and we just didn’t have time. Sigh. Oh well. It was fun. Marissa got to meet Tyler, who is going to have a small role in the new Dolphin Tale movie coming out. I think she was a little star struck….
The pool at the house was heavenly. Seriously was heated to a perfect 90 degrees. Was warmer in the pool than out. Sean is a fan. He's quite the little fish. (Ha! See what I did there…)
Sean and I at one of the kids award programs for the end of the school year.
Marissa cut 12” of hair to donate to Locks of Love. She seriously looks adorable. Love her and her big heart.
And we visited Touch a Truck. All sorts of big trucks come and the kiddies can crawl all around and in them. Basically Sean heaven. We’d just picked up Teresa as well. She came right before Marissa's birthday. Which as I'm thinking, there are no pictures of on my camera. UGH! That’s horrible. Or of Brady’s. Ill have to dig thru my phone for pictures. Sigh…
And since I cant find pictures of Brady and Marissa birthday, Ill just chat a little. Brady turned 12 on 5/22. Spoiled little punk got an iPhone. He also was ordained a Deacon. He is absolutely adorable in his suit. He loves to go to church and pass the sacrament. One day, I’d slept in. Marcus wasn’t going to church because he had to go help a friend with some flooding. Marcus told Brady to get ready. Meaning to go with him to dig ditches. He came back in the room trying to straighten his tie. I think I got ready the fastest I ever had to take him. He has the biggest heart. He is so kind. He incudes others, always. Sean worships him and I am pretty sure its mutual.Brady LOVES sports. He is counting down the days for football to start again and he loves to play soccer, but will play most. He is also a little guy. 4 1/2’ exactly. Just tall enough to ride the rides at the amusement parks he is too chicken to go on. He is praying he his a growth spurt soon. Poor guy. He's getting ready to get braces and cannot wait. I cant believe he is going into middle school this year. Completely freaks me out.
Marissa is Marissa. Our sweet little homebody. She's content to hang by herself and play with her ipad and baby dolls. She loves to be helpful with housework and Sean. Is terrified of thunder and will end up in our room during any and all storms. She is a sweet kid. Super sensitive and tears flow easily. Eager to please and tries hard. Is a stinking hoarder and her room makes me crazy with her piles everywhere.
Fourth of July was fabulous. We went to Riches Farms for he show. Was awesome I seriously LOVE it here. It really doesn’t get much better than this. Isn't Sean the most adorable photo bomber ever?. Came home and did some sparklers. Again. Sean was fearless.
Ok. If I'm going to do it, I may as well do it all. Downloaded phone pictures. Yay! Although I recently got a new phone so still no birthday. Boo! But here's a little taste.
Sean is constantly naked. Seriously a fight to keep clothes on him. Maybe one day hell actually be potty trained. Although he has been doing awesome lately with no help or encouragement from me. We are leaving for Florida on Friday and 17 hours in the car with a newly potty trained threenager sounds super fun. So well work on it when we get home,,,
Brady, at one of his first young men's activities. A spaghetti dinner fundraiser/auction. Was a blast.
My cute brother Coltin and his wife are pregnant with identical twin girls. Cant wait.
A little tea party on the deck with Silvie.
One of our boating trips. It is one of my favorite places to be. Sean and Brady do this thing where they swim around the boat and are the little “fishies” that need to be fed. Doritos usually.
My cousin Bryan came and hung out with us for about a week at the beginning of the summer. Was fun having him. Even though we had a ton of rain so made it hard to do fun things…
Teresa took her book on the boat. She spent days letting it air dry and finally resorted to the blow-dryer. Oh the life of a bookworm.
Sean has also become quite bug obsessed. Again with the fearless thing.
We've spent many hours at the pool and hiking trails. Its gorgeous here. Seriously. You should come visit.
Always time for the chalk.I'm getting very good at drawing on command.
Scooter rides and home made slip and slides…
This random 5th Grade Promotion pictures. He insisted on wearing his suit. What a stud.
Like father, like son. Seriously taken moments apart….
Shopping with Sean is always interesting. He has random taste…like big metal chickens…
Ken had a scary cross country practice. Said she felt like her throat was closing. Was def a anaphylactic reaction, but no obvious bee stings or rashes. Shed eaten a granola bar for breakfast, but was one shed had a million times. Took her to allergy doc to find out that she is super allergic to pistachios and cashews. She is now the owner of an epi pen. Was super scary for her. Was awful. But I'm glad we figured it out and now have stuff in place to stop it if it happens again.
Brady spent a week at scout camp. We had gone to visit on family night. Missed him. He is such a goober!! But I think he had a good time…
Ice cream and water. Its fabulous. I love this guy. Lots.
Sean and his BFF Scarlett. Love them.
The perfect outline of a bird that slammed into my kitchen window. Hysterical.
Bath time yesterday. He sleeps with most of these trucks every night. He is my favorite 3 year old ever. Love him and his little quirks.
Were leaving Friday for Florida. Staying on the beach in Boca Raton. We have no plans but to hang either at the beach or pool. Sunshine, water, humidity and my favorite people ever. I can not wait.
