Yesterday we went to a rally at the Sanford Airport to show our support for Mitt Romney. We had fun cheering for him and hearing him speak. Lauren and I got to shake his hand. Then we stuck around as Joe Scarborough from MSNBC came to interview him. If you watched the show this morning you were probably able to catch a glimpse of us in the background.

BIRTHDAY BOWLING EXTRAVAGANZA
For my birthday, I wanted to go bowling...a secret favorite pasttime of mine! So we took Papa and Grandma Jensen with us (they came up to celebrate my birthday) and had a good time - for 1 game! Then the kids started to get a little cranky. So Grandma took them home and Kerry, my dad and I continued to play the other 2 games. If anyone cares, for a combine total score of all 3 games........I beat Kerry! And NO, he didn't let me win just because it was my birthday. He's way too competitive for that!
Lauren loved that she got to wear the spiffy bowling shoes. She kept dancing and sliding around in them. She even got her own ball too! She had fun throwing the ball as we all cringed, hoping it would go down the right lane - as she wanted no help from anyone! Gavin, was just happy to be where the action was!

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY....TO ME!
Kerry and the kids threw me a "surprise" party! They decorated the house and wrapped presents while my mom took me shopping. When I came home, they sprayed me with silly string and sang "Happy Birthday" to me. We ate Chinese food, had cake, and opened presents. It was a great party! I have the cutest family ever!

JUST ANOTHER DAY AT THE PARK
Lauren and Gavin LOVE to be outside especially when it involves going to the park. Today was fun because Dad got to go with us. He got a little bit crazy and creative and decided that it would be fun for all 3 of them to go down the slide at once. It was a lots of laughs for those in the tube slide and for those of us on the outside watching. The kids had a blast!

HORSING AROUND WITH DAD
This is a typical scene at our house every evening. Dad barely gets in the door and the kids are BEGGING him to be their horse and haul them all around the house. They love it! The laughs are endless and very loud. They have such a fun daddy!

A FAREWELL BID TO UNCLE ALEX
Lauren and Gavin were sad to see their Uncle Alex leave for Rexburg, ID where he will be going to BYU-Idaho. They are really going to miss him - we all will! We love you and wish you all the best Uncle Al!

ONCE THERE WAS A SNOWMAN
On our last day in Utah, Lauren and Papa rounded up all the snow they could find to make this snowman. Lauren had such a fun time playing in the snow. She could stay out there in the cold for hours if we would have let her. She is already looking forward to the next time she go to Utah to play in the snow.

BABY GRACIE'S BLESSING
Jody and Brittany were able to bless their beautiful daughter, Gracie Jo, on Sunday, December 30th. She looked absolutely adorable in her blessing dress. She posed so nicely for me to get some great pictures of her. (Jody and Brittany - look for more pictures to come your way!) It was fun to be able to share this special day with their family.

CHRISTMAS 2007
We had a WONDERFUL Christmas with Papa & Grandma Tait and Aunt Kylene! We were spoiled rotten!
Cuffy was the highlight of Christmas morning when he came around the corner all dressed in his Santa suit! Lauren was so excited!
Lauren had so much fun dancing with her "Prince"- Papa, using all of her uncles as horses to haul her around the house, and singing "True Love's Kiss" with Aunt Kylene. She is so lucky to have such AWESOME aunts and uncles to play with her!
We were able to spend Christmas Day evening all together for the first time in over a year. We had so much fun eating, laughing, opening more presents, playing Guitar Hero, holding the newest addition to the Tait Family - Gracie (who is so adorable!), and just hanging out! It was the perfect day!
