After I finally realized that Gavin was missing in action today - here is what I found! It's amazing
he can still see straight after wearing my glasses. What a little man!

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY UNCLE ALEX!
Today we celebrate Uncle Alex's 19th birthday! We wish he was closer so we could celebrate with him but we know he is having fun in Rexburg at school! It's always fun and games for Lauren and Gavin when Uncle Al is around. He is always so good to take care of them and play with them. They just adore him! We miss him! We hope you have a great birthday Alex!!! We love you!

BROMANTIC MANCATION
Here are a few pictures from the "Bromantic Mancation '08." When you see those guys riding Harley's in March and they look pretty cool, they're not....they're freeeeeezing! We planned this a little early in the year for weather to cooperate properly, but we had a blast anyway! Luckily, we suited up with some good riding gear to stay warm. From St. George, we rode to Pine Valley the first day and through Zion the next day. Even though the weather wasn't the greatest, the scenery was beautiful and it was great to own the road with your best buddies. Reggie is the only one to own his own Harley and I think you could say that the rest of us officially have the bug for life!

EARLY EASTER EXTRAVAGANZA!
The kiddos got a great surprise today when we went to our mailbox - a great package from Papa and Grandma Tait! It was filled with goodies for them. They both got cute new swim suits, and lots of candy! There were even a few dollars hidden in their eggs! Thanks Papa and Grandma Tait! We love you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANEILLE!
Our friend Janeille is possibly the world's greatest person! Not only is she the most optimistic and happy person you will ever meet, she is also the sweetest and most kind woman we know! Ask any of us, we all think she is our best friend! That's how Janeille makes everyone feel - like they are the most important person to her - and I really believe we are! She was lucky and born on St. Patrick's Day! To celebrate, we all went to get manicures and pedicures with her (it's her favorite splurge, although she'd actually say it is a necessity!) Afterwards, we met up with some more of our friends for lunch. We had a great time celebrating with our favorite person, Janeille! We love you!

PIRATES AND HARLEY'S
In anticipation of Kerry's "Bromantic Mancation" (a bunch of almost 30 year old boys getting together for a weekend in Vegas/St. George to play), Grandpa and Grandma Tait sent him this bandana and a Harley Davidson sticker. The "boys" will be riding Harley's and it is reminding us all of a bad rendition of the movie "Wild Hogs." ANYWAY, when it came in the mail the kids - including their dad - had fun trying it on. Lauren kept laughing because they all looked like pirates. I just got a kick out of the whole thing! Never a dull moment at our house.

EVER HAD ONE OF THESE DAYS?!
Everyone at our house has been sick, Sick, SICK! It started with Gavin and an ear infection. Then Lauren and Kerry got this awful head cold. Then the climatic event was me getting the FLU yesterday and being so completely sick that I couldn't even move. Thank goodness for Grandma Jensen who came to the rescue and got both the kids so I could sleep and get better. I am happy to say that this morning I am feeling 100 times better. I now have the head cold but that is SO much better than the misery I was feeling yesterday. Now, if only we could get Kerry feeling better - he thinks he now has the flu - life would be great!
*Yes, please notice the drool, or snot, or both that has made its way down my couch! Yummy!

THERE'S BALD.....AND THEN THERE'S REALLY BALD!
For some reason (we'll call it poor genetics), my little Taitor Tots have been cursed to be bald! Lauren still does not have tons of hair like all her little friends but it's growing more everyday (YAY!). I thought it would be fun to look at their 1 year birthday pictures and compare the two. I thought that Lauren didn't have any hair until I put Gavin's picture next to hers. Now this kid has ZERO hair! But he is so cute (and a boy) so it really doesn't matter. Not that Lauren wasn't cute. It's just that you want your little girl to have all this hair that you can put in ribbons and bows! Hair or no hair - they are both super cute in my eyes! I bet their grandparents would agree!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA JENSEN!
Happy, Happy Birthday Grandpa! Lauren and Gavin LOVE Grandpa! As you can tell from the pictures, it is pretty much always fun and games when he is around. They have so much fun going on walks to play at the park, playing games (Memory and Don't Spill the Beans are the favorites), and dancing and singing (Should've Been a Cowboy) with the CD player turned up so loud that the windows shake!! Never a dull moment when Grandpa comes to visit! We hope you have a great day Grandpa Jensen. We love you and we look forward to eating some cake with you this week!
