It's been a while, huh?! After the holidays things have been pretty busy for us. I've had lots of things going on at the schools that I teach at, and have just been trying to adjust to getting the amount of work done that I need to while slowing down a bit with the belly. The pregnancy has actually been going fabulously. No major complaints...but I'm still in the blessed 2nd trimester so I'm sure I'll have plenty to gripe about in the next few weeks! Emerson is getting really excited to be a big sister and talks about baby Harper all the time. I'm hoping she'll still feel that way in May!
Greg is still staying down in St. George 2 nights a week and the nights that he's home have been busy with his new calling in Scouts (hehe) and with ward basketball. Greg also spends most of his "free" time studying for the lovely CPA exam. Much of Greg's time is also spent in helping me with all the crazy projects that I have come up with that MUST be done RIGHT NOW. Poor guy. I swear I'm not nesting yet, I just feel the urgent need to be more organized. He deserves an award for putting up with me lately!
Along with all of my crazy organizing stuff I needed a solution for all of the hair bows and clips that we've accumulated. This is what I came up with:
1- I painted an old magnet board black (because I'm about to make Greg paint an old dresser and night stand black for Emmy's room), and then covered the metal part with a super cute fabric.
2- Then I got a bunch of small circle magnets from Home Depot to put all over the board. I think I'll end up needing a few more magnets once we add another female to our family!
3- And here is the finished product. I just popped all of the clips onto the magnets and VOILA! Super cute AND most importantly a GENIUS storage solution I think!
Stay tuned for more of my crazy pregnancy projects. There's a whole list!p.s. I promise I do my daughter's hair and put her in real clothes. She just happens to be in her pajamas in all of these pictures! She was super dirty when she got home from the babysitter's that day, so we did a bath and jammies at about 3 p.m.. :)
