Walking with the Forbes

This weekend we were able to celebrate Kelsee's 12th birthday. We had a glamour girls party and I glamored all 12 girls. They all arrived in their lounge wear and we started out with eating strawberries dipped in chocolae pudding, chips and dip, and cookies. They moved onto a gettig a facial mask while soaking their feet. Their facial masks ingrediants consisted of 1 tbsp yogurt and 2 tbsp of honey. This makes your face soft. After soaking their feet and getting a facial mask they moved over to my neice Hailey were they would then recieve painted toes and fingers. What would I have done without my Hailey? You tell me. Ater their toes I steamed a warm wash rag in the microwave to remove their facial masks. Alot of them enjoyed that part. Then I rubbed their legs and feet with oil. I thought some of them were going to fall asleep on me. They all looked very relaxed and glowing. After all the pampering they hoped over to the table to design quotes on sea shells. They came up with some creative quotes. They continued on with playing games. What a kick it was to listen to all the girls giggle aboout truth and dares. We ended the night enjoying the taste of cake, ice cream and opening gifts with them taking home their glamour bags. Kelsee received some of the neatest gifts and amazing cards from her friends and family. Thank Hailey for being my sidekick. I love you so much and enjoy having you with me. Thank you to all her friends and family for making her day full of memories and laughs.

Today is Kelsee's 12th birthday. My baby is now a pre-teen. She is so excited to be 12. She has grown into such a beautiful, talented, smart, sweet young lady. She wakes up every morning with a smile and goes to bed every day with a smile. She brings out a smile in all of us. She is our ray of light and the best big sister in the world. Her little heart is the biggest heart when it comes to caring. She is always concerned about everyone's feelings and thoughts. She has made a lot of friends that look up to her and appreciate her friendship. She loves to tease and joke and make you smile. She a talented dancer and loves to teach children. She has inspired our lives and we love her with all our hearts. Happy Birthday dolly!

What a beautiful day to celebrate Easter. We woke up with Easter at home and then went to Bud and Marilyn's for more celebration. We had a wonderful lunch/dinner and enjoyed watching the children having fun. We enjoyed Jamie being home and we all sluffed Monday too to have an extra day together.

As Easter approaches the girls and I enjoy sharing the meaning of Easter. My love and appreciation for our Lord and Savior is overwhelming. As I watch my children turn to Jesus and our Heavenly Father in prayer, my heart melts with joy and gratitude knowing that they have faith in Him and understand the power of healing, protection, guidence and love. What a tremendous blessing to have our Savior and Heavenly Father in our lives. I am so thankful for the Atonement and for our teachings.

"I hope that all of us begin our day be spending some time with the Savior, feeling his Spirit and enjoying his love for us" (Aloha! 35).
