RS Progressive Dinner

We are very excited about our upcoming Relief Society Additional Meeting on Thursday, March 15th at 7:00 pm!
  • We will start at the Duncan home for Salad & Bread,
  • Then move next door to the Heywood home for our Main Dish,
  • And end up at the Robinson home for Dessert!
There will be no class for children with this activity.

August Single Adult Activities

Sunday, 28th: Potluck and Fireside to be held at the church building on Fort Caroline Rd. The Potluck begins at 6:00 pm. Please bring food to share. The Fireside will begin at 7:00 pm with Sister Sue Spackman as our speaker.
*This activity is regularly held on the fourth Sunday, at the Hendricks building. The location is moved this month only due to a Stake Priesthood meeting at the Stake Center.

New Ward Boundaries

Please be aware that a special Sacrament Meeting will be held on Sunday, 5 June to announce the creation of a new ward as well as new boundaries for the Jacksonville Beaches Ward & the Atlantic Ward. Both wards will meet at the Ft. Caroline chapel from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. All are encourged to arrive early and be in their seats by 8:45 am. There will be no further church meetings held for these wards that day. We will still observe Fast Sunday as we normally do on the first Sunday of the month.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with the growth of The LDS Church in our area!

Ward Easter Egg Hunt

We will be meeting on the 22nd at 6:30 pm at the Regional Park at Baymeadows/9A. In the case of inclement weather, we will meet at the church.

An Easter Egg hunt will be held for children 11 and under. Please provide 12 eggs filled with candy (no chocolate) for each egg-hunt-participating child you bring.

For the adults: A Homemade Salsa Contest!

We will feast on a Taco Bar with Homemade Rootbear for refreshment!

April Single Adult Activities

  • Friday, 22nd: Stake Single Adult Social, 7:00 pm. We will be playing Broom Hockey! If you prefer not to play, come and watch the game or join in the other activities that will be available. If you want to play, bring your broom! Please bring a snack, your children, and single adult friends.


  • Sunday, 24th: Potluck & Fireside to be held at the Stake Center on Hendricks Ave. The Potluck begins at 6:00 pm. Please bring food to share. The Fireside will begin at 7:00 pm with Sister Eileen Risley as our speaker. She lives with her husband in Egypt and will be sharing their experiences. (This is Easter Sunday and we will have single adults who do not have family near to be with on this day... so our SA Stake family will be available.)

  • All Singles 31+ are welcome!

    Southeast Area Day of Service

    FILL THE BANKS (FOOD & BLOOD)
    April 16, 2011 is our Third Annual Day of Service!

    Non-perishable food items and cash donations will be collected at our Ward building from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Donations can be made before April 16th by putting non-perishable food items in the barrels located in our foyer and near the library at church. These donations will be transported by Second Harvest to local food banks. Checks should be made payable to Second Harvest and are tax deductible.

    Each $1.00 donated will buy seven (7) meals for one adult.

    We will also donate blood at our Stake Center on April 16th. All donations will stay in our local areas to help people in need.

    Have fun serving the Lord and our community!
