Well it looks like two of us will soon have to have surgery. Reese has a consult appt for tubes on Thursday April 5. She has had a continuous ear infection/infections since January 4(this stinks) She has been off of antibiotics for almost a week and the yellow snot is already starting again. UGHHHH!!! Her ped is also thinking they need to go ahead and remove her adenoids as well, I just have to talk to the ENT about it. I know him as I work with him, so I am sure it wont be too hard of a sale. As soon as we can get her tubes done, then I will have my surgery. What surgery you ask. Well it looks like I will be having uterine ablation surgery. Now that we know that we are done with babies(well having them biologically at least) I have to do something. I will spare you the gross details as to why I need to have this done. Anyway, I am hoping Reese will have her surgery the week of April 9th, and I will have my surgery the next week. My OB/GYN told me that I will have to be off work at least 4 days, so the plan is to have the surgery on a Thursday and go back to work on Wednesday. All paid time off ofcourse. Oh and I will also get paid to be off for Reese's surgery. Sometimes I love the benefits of where I work.
Now on the not so fun part. I went for my yearly appt almost 3 weeks ago and DID NOT LIKE WHAT I SAW ON THE SCALE. I had done really well after Reese was born, but unfortunately when I quit nursing about 6 months ago, I began to gain weight slowly but still. I was just a few lbs aways from where I started. So what did I do, I signed myself up for Weight Watchers again and took my fat butt to a meeting. Thursday marked the end of my first week and I was down a total of 5.2 lbs since Dr's appt, and 4 lbs since first WW meeting. I have given up all drinks except for water, and milk. Im not going to lie either I could so drink an entire gallon of my sweet tea right about now, but I will not. I have set myself a short term goal of 15 lbs by June 1st. So I will be posting my progress every week. I also took a beginning picture(blech) and plan to take a new one every 30 days in the same outfit. Im not going to post them until a few months into my plan. Now off to bed, I am tired.

My motto in January was less than a year(till I finish my BSN) now I can proudly say less than 9 months..HA!!
Now for the NEW..Korey turned 14 in January and is now 6ft tall!!!! and weighs in at a scrawny 136lbs. He is now a proud member of the 8th grade Golf Team(practice pays off). He is Long tall green bean.Reese turned 2 on Feb.2nd and is 28lbs and 34.5in tall. She is into everything!! She is a daredevil,, a climber and a hitter...Boy oh Boy am I in trouble with this one. Karli will be 4 in a few months and that just blows my mind. Otherwise things are going good.

CHRISTmas Season
Merry CHRISTmas and Happy Holidays and all that jazz...(ok who else is singing now). Anyway, I know it has been awhile since my last post. Life as usual is crazy. I just finished my first fulltime semester back in school and am happy to report that I have a 4.0 GPA!!! I have almost a month before classes start back(Jan 11) and I am so thankful to not have to worry about homework, or due dates. I am still working fulltime. The kids are now almost 14, almost 3.5 and 22 months. BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!! Randall is also still working full time as well. The biggest news I guess is that we are OFFICIALLY done having babies. There is the very real possiblity of adoption in the future, but not for at least 3-4 years. I am going to be changing up the blog a little and will be posting new pics in the next few days. Love to all and MERRY CHRISTmas!!!
