I just finished my first paper and all i can say is (and i quote my friend robson): ignorance is bliss. i thought i did quite alright when i came out of the exam hall...... UNTIL i started comparing answers with my friends. i could have been happy now, THINKING that i did correctly. but noooooooo. i just had to open my big gab and ask for answers. and all of them were silly mistakes. i know everyone says they make silly mistakes, when actually they are just plain stupid .but these REALLY are the worst possible ways to lose marks.
sigh.... when will i ever learn and not disappoint myself? i am so sick of that. i need an A. please gimme an A

it never ceases to amaze me that:
1. how a trip to carrefour, with the right company, can be so entertaining. my best guy friend and i decided catch harry potter last nite. albeit having tons of revision not done. we had some spare time left before the show actually started a 1030pm. so we went to carrefour to check out... stuff. we went crazy inside, trying to pronounce crazy french shampoo products, smelling the new original source, which incidentally reminds me of bandung. we went round smelling all the smeely cheese, tasting stuff. haha. good times man. good times.
2. how soundly i can sleep at homw. just woke up from a nap that was supposed to last1hr. i slept for 2hours. i dunno if its because my bed is of a certain hardness, my pillow of a correct height, but i practically sunk in my bed. i tried to wake up, i really did. but i just could not move my arms amd legs. they were sort of like stuck to the bed. it feels great to sleep on my bed!
3. how free i am to blog when i have 4 consecutive exams next week. and i am doing this. karma baby..... its all about karma. i just how it doesnt bite me in the ass when i get my results.

Oh man what an evenful week.... we had our very own flop open floor. which was on monday (catch panda!) hehe. okok, so it wasnt the best openfloor. but at least most of my floormates were involved in the helping out, which is always nice. good job keelong! for getting everyone to chip in. hope the stuff werent too expensive. certainly a mark up from last year's.
hmm wat else. ..its my 22nd birthday! whats ironic though is how unevenful it was. i spent the entire day mugging at engine, which, surprisingly, was a very good place to mug. a few of my friends and i practically "chop" one room to yourselves. and if anyone were to come in, we would all shoot them with dart like eyes. hehe. and they ordered pizza to celebrate my birthday. how nice! and i only knew most of them for less than a sem. so thanks carrot and ah teng!!
what irks me the most was that one of my supposed closer friend didnt come wish me happy birthday. okok. this sounds very secondary school, but i mean, it really bothered me, if not disappointed. i mean, we had this sort of "argument" which was like 10000years ago. and our relationship took a toll since. i mean i can say it wasnt my fault. i'm not saying this because im some ego bastard. but i really really thought it wasnt. and i cant even remember what exactly happened. but it did, and i am not going to bawl over it. just disappointed.
skee and siwei came over to celebrate my birthday yesterday.... the say i had diahorrea. haha too much pizza. i love the 2 of them to pieces. they actually delivered lunch over so we could all eat together (mostly because i MADE them) but still. thanks a lot guys.
oh and i had lab assignment. which took me a grand total of more than 12 hours in a matter of 3 days. which i thought wasnt really worth it. so i handed in a partially done one and heck it. to hell with gis. seriously. not worth my time.
GOOD NEWS! i got my sep to INSA Lyon in france. omg. i cant believe i got it. considering the fact that i so suck at french. je parle un petit peu le francais. hahah right. now all i got to do is not screw up any of my modules now. and i will be on my way to lyon right about..... one year and 3 months from now. yee haaa!
so all in all...... lots of unevenful events made this an evenful week. a week which i cant say is the best week of my life since i spent my entire day mugging.... and doing lab. but a week which i am going to remember. cheerios everyone

i must have been away from home for too long. my neighbourhood has officially become pest zone groud zero. it's literally infested with pests. just now, when i went out for dinner, i was appalled to see rats at my void deck. it's so gross..... it's like they were having a little party of their own, scampering around, oblivious of my presence. i mean i know they exist in the hellhole that they live in but i didn't expect to see 5 of them, in 30 secs.
not only that, my kitchen is filled with cockroaches. don't get me worng. i am 100% confident of the hygiene conditions of my house. i am safely say (with 99% confidence level) that my house is cleaner than the average household. my parents are clean freaks to say the least. but i have no idea where these cockroaches come from. i saw 2 hiding behind the laundry basket. i killed them both with bygon (great invention by the way). i went to watch some tv after. less than an hour later.... i spotted 2 more. 2 MORE! this is unacceptable. what is the world coming to..... we are being overrun by cockroaches!! and to think that they are my worst fears. i seriously do not like cockroaches. they are the ugliest creatures on earth (even uglier than me and that, i consider, to be relatively unbeatable).

I feel a need to complain at how inefficient and incompetent civil engine is. Apparently, they THOUGHT that no one was taking french in the department, so they did not have any spaces for france for sep. what kind of bullshit is that? if there is anyone who should know better, it has got to be them right? that's what the whole screwed up system of cors is all about isn't it? just scroll through accounts and check. how difficult can THAT be? it's defintely not rocket science. and there's only 130 to check. not the entire london's.
i mean, we don't throw 5700bucks at them every year so they can THINK this or THINK that. they are supposed to do some tangible WORK...... not hallucinate it in their pea sized brain. now, i got to request for an opening to france. absolute bs. i am so sick and tired of this. one sep need to do so many things.
