Ariana discovered the pots and pans drawer...She loved it!

She couldn't get the wok out though...

And had a lot of fun playing with them!

The view inside has got to be really interesting!...

Not to mention the texture...

Woo-hoo! Look what I can do.

Saturday at the Park!

This unreasonably warm weather we've been having has been delightful, especially for my St. George blood. We took advantage of the warm weather on Saturday to have a picnic at the park! It started out cooler than we thought it was going to be but halfway through, I had my coat off, and the kids were perfect!

I had no idea you could do this! (I thought you just slid down on your legs, or climbed up them) Ethan showed Ella how to do it, then they did it a lot! Ella woke up the next morning and kept saying that her arms hurt...well they did. She was sore!

Ella's turn!

Ariana had a great time exploring! She got the hang of walking on this uneven surface and eventually preferred walking on the wood chips to walking on the grass. She walked around the majority of the time with a pine cone in one hand and a stick in the other.

Church History Museum...Children's Exhibit

My mom and Dad came up for the weekend on February 3rd and 4th for a technology convention for educators. So, while Travis and my Dad were at the conference on Saturday, my mom and Charles and I and the kids decided to go check out the Children's Exhibit at the Church History Museum. It was so cute! Enjoy the pictures, they tell all...

Every time Ethan and Ella saw the Trax cross while we were waiting they asked if they could ride the "choo-choo train"...so, we rode Trax up to Salt Lake. Here are Grandma and Ariana on the Trax. And...it's thanks to Trax that I know why kids need car seats...TO STRAP THEM IN!! Ella kept changing seats!

As you first walk in there is an area to learn a traditional Spanish dance...complete with costumes. Ella spent the first half hour dancing!

Ethan quickly found the computer games and spent a lot of the time playing games...

This is Nephi's boat...

Ariana is being silly watching Ella dance...

And Ella and Ariana found the Elder's Apartment and had a lot of fun cooking...

Ethan is steering the boat to the Promised Land!

Daddy is helping Ella and Ethan build a wall...

and then Ethan had fun knocking it over...

Then we rode Trax back. The kids had a lot of fun. Ariana fell asleep the last 10 min. of the ride. We all had a lot of fun!

After we got back, we all went out to dinner to celebrate Dad and Travis' birthday. On the way there we saw this license plate cover...so Chad, this is for you...

Sealings and Shoes!

This is the "Sealing" part...
The last Saturday in January, Charles and I went to my cousin Amy's sealing in the Provo Temple. It was a wonderful opportunity and we're glad we were able to be up here. I also saw a lot of my cousins I haven't seen in about 4 years, so that was fun getting together with everyone!

Congrats Amy and Alan!

Everyone who came to the sealing. It was so fun to have so much family come! Most of my cousins live all over the country, so it was really nice to see them.

and the "shoes" part...

As is habit, I come in the house, and take off my shoes.
After I did this, Ariana walked right over to my shoes, and started to try and put them on. It entertained her for the better part of a half hour...

Silly Girl!
