A little more swimming...

The day after the blessing we decided to head down to Cynthia and Travis' house for some swimming as part of family home evening.  We had a lot of fun...or I should say the kids had a lot of fun...

Playing "Shark" with Grandpa Gough...can you tell who the "Shark" is?

Attack the "shark"...I mean Grandpa!!

Elizabeth watching the fun with Grandma Gough!

She refused to get in the water...but got wet enough that she got cold...go figure...

my little bathing beauty.  She didn't mind sitting and splashing, but not to get in.

After we swam we got some pizza, had FHE at Travis' house, and then watched "The Muppet Movie".  We had a lot of fun!
The next day we went swimming at the Kearns Rec Center, and then to the annual 24th of July BBQ at Stuart and Janene's house.  It was a lot of fun.  Then the next day, despite my protests, mom and dad went home.  I tried to get them to stay...but...they figured their garden was more important :)  Thanks for coming!  We already miss you!

Elizabeth's baby blessing.

Elizabeth is whole and healthy and the time came that we were able to finally bless her.  She had a very special blessing.  She's my miracle baby and we're so happy and grateful she's part of our family!

July 22nd we blessed her.  Then we had lunch at our house.  Grandma Frost made the dress.  Thanks Grandma!

 With Great Grandma Lane...

The dress tastes pretty good too!!

Yay!

out of the ten pictures that were taken, this is the best one... Don't you love Ariana's foot hooked on Ethan's ear and Charles is blinking (but at least he's look toward the camera) and Ethan has a weird smile and Elizabeth is thinking "Are you sure I'm in the right family?  These people are nuts!"

 Love the dress!

 Got a little smile there...

I love Elizabeth's face..."Am I done yet?...Please?..."

Thanks to all who were able to come the the blessing.  I know there were more there than I saw but I really appreciate you coming...especially Jan and Dan and my Mom and Dad.  They get the award for "Going the Extra Mile".

The Zoo!!

We had an opportunity at the end of July to go to the zoo!  My friend Suzanne was able to get all of us in for free, as well as free rides on the train and carousel and we had a fun time just hangin' out and seeing the animals.  There's a new part to the zoo too for aquatic animals that was a lot of fun to see.  Becuase it was late afternoon, and hot, not a lot of animals were active, but it was still really cool to see them...

cooling off at the big wet ball...

Waiting for the train!

Yay for the train!

This is the only time Elizabeth wasn't crying on the train.  She didn't like the noise...

I thought this was funny...eating bananas in the monkey house...

And now for a carousel ride!!

 Ariana loved it!!

of course Ella loved it too...

Elizabeth is trying to decide...

 And Ethan loves it too...

This is Suzanne and Kylee.  Thanks for a fun day at the zoo!!

Neighborhood BBQ

My friend Tangela and I thought it would be a fun idea to have a neighborhood BBQ.  We had a pretty good turnout and a lot of fun to boot!

We had it down at our little playground.  It was a lot of fun to talk and eat...then we brought out the slip 'n slide...

This is a little table of water for the little kids...

Ethan and Ella loved it!

 Waiting in line...

A couple of cute kids!  Ariana is improving her "Cheeeeese" and Dillan, a neighborhood kid is next to her.

Over all...the party was a great success... we have some awesome neighbors!

We spent the 4th of July just having fun.  First my friend Jenny was in town so we spent the morning hanging out with her at my house then we had a BBQ and fireworks at Grandma Frost's house...

Looking into the "Mysterious Beyond"... but she enjoyed her watermelon.

two cute faces!  Yay for Aunt Anita!

July 4th is Ethan's Christmas.  Forget about toys, he'll take fireworks any day!
 ya, Ella get's excited too...

She's just smiling becuase the others are smiling...

Grandpa's putting on the show this time...
Pretty baby!

I love it when the camera can get cool fireworks effects...

Grandma is "helping" Ariana with her sparkler.

We had a lot of fun this 4th and it was the coolest one I remember.  Living 4 hours North does have it's plus's.

A Quick Trip...

The beginning of July started with a tragedy in Dustin's family.  Charity's mom (Kathy Holden) passed away.  She was a wonderful woman who will be missed, but her legacy will never leave anyone who knew her.

Here are some pictures of our quick, (and I mean quick) trip.  It was just me and the kids becuase Charles couldn't get the time off.

This is Elizabeth practicing her pretty smiles!  Love the cheeks!

She's 2 1/2 months old...

We were pretty tired when we pulled in to St. George.  Do you think she could possible sleep with any more stuffed animals?
 Strike a pose...

 Dustin getting prepped by Kylie...

Steve is Charity's dad.  He's so awesome!

 Yay! Charity!

I've never seen a casket that was as pretty as this one.  It was absolutely gorgeous!

Dustin and Charity's mom (Kathy) had a special connection.  She'll be missed.

Elizabeth was great for the whole funeral.  She slept through most of it. I was really glad too because President Eyring came!  And he ended the funeral with a few Amazing remarks.  Charity's brother is his body guard.

This is at the cemetery.  There's a World War 2 memorial there, and my Grandpa Gough's name is on it.

and of course, summer at Grandma Gough's house is never the same without swimming!

We told Ariana to say cheese...and this is what she gave us!  We couldn't stop laughing.  It was so funny!

 Holden is hanging in there..

and another random picture because its not going to fit anywhere...

You think I've been pumping a lot or something?...Smart girl...
