Macy is 2 Years Old!

Real serious about reading scriptures.
Macy is 2 years old.  She weighs 25 pounds and is 2'9 1/2" tall.

Macy loves to sing songs.  Her favorites:
  • Twinkle Twinkle Little Star "Tinkle, Tinkle"
  • ABC's
  • The Wheels on the Bus
  • I Love You a Bushel and a Peck
  • 1-2-3-4-5 Once I Caught a Fish Alive (thanks Ballards)
  • Old Macdonald
  • Monkeys Jumping on the Bed
  • Patty Cake
  • This Little Piggy

She's loving learning about opposites - LOUD and quiet, etc.  We have the cutest book about this and she loves it.  I find myself wanting her to stay just like she is now because she is so precious!  She is talking so much and is more like a little person every day.  She plays Pictionary with her dad - he draws things like a truck, a heart, a star and she guesses it.  I just love her more and more everyday and didn't think it was possible to love her more.  I love having a little buddy in Macy.  She's so pleasant to be around although I have witnessed a few tantrums :(.

She shared for the first time with her cousin Nash and I caught it on camera - this is a big deal!  They each put a hat on each other.  When we visited them recently, she just followed Nash around and did whatever he did - you can tell she thinks he is pretty cool.

Swimming at Veyo Pool - she swam for 2 hours sraight!

Macy got her first haircut from Grandma Funderburk.  It turned out so cute - just a little trim to even things up.  We started it on the patio where she got to her bangs, but had to finish the rest the next day while Macy stood at a stool at the kitchen sink and "did dishes".  It kept her distracted so Grandma could snip, snip, snip!

July Jamboree 2012

We discovered chocolate covered frozen bananas and loved the refreshing treat!

So did Macy.

If you zoom in on this picture, Macy's face and hair is so priceless!

Macy loves Uncle Matt

The July Jamboree this year was different than most years.  We had Macy's birthday that day so we had lots going on and had lots of family in town.  We've always wanted our family to see how much fun it is, so it was good to have them there.  I was disappointed because Hermitas didn't have a food booth :( and I didn't discover the funnel cake stand until it was too late.  Oh well, next year!  Andy put the Soap Box cars in as well as his Packard and truck.  The soap box cars drew a lot of attention.  It was a fun day.
