EASTER EGG HUNT

My friend Julie hosted a cute Easter Egg Hunt at the park.

Ready, set, go!

Oh yeah! I got an egg!

Totally wiped her out!

The aftermath of sugar.

We made these yummy treats (puffed rice around a sucker) to share with everyone.

BONFIRE

We hosted a bonfire for SUU Chinese students at Three Peaks. It was quite fun!

I want that cookie jar.

We got in a little pool time and lots of cousin time.

Chillin' at the pool with these two hot ladies.
Millie got to snuggle up with Aunt Brie

And they're pooped!  That is Macy on two chairs at a restaurant.  Sick, tired little one.

CARD GROUP: FEBRUARY EDITION

I was proud of my individual 7-layer dip cups

Served a favorite recipe: chicken tortilla soup and all the toppings
You can find the recipe for this soup here.  You will not regret making it!

In love with the new little banner I made
It's always such fun to host card group at my house.  It is a little crowded in our tiny house so I'm looking forward to the next time I get to host in our new home!  We always eat a lot, talk a lot, and craft a little!  We made custom stencil tees with freezer paper and metallic fabric paint. The ones I made are pictured below.  I got the idea here: http://www.sewinginnomansland.com/2012/03/05/la-la-lucky/.

Love how they turned out.  So easy!

VALENTINE'S DAY

Addictive tradition: handmade valentine cards!
Macy loved helping decorate {and eat} our valentine cookies

Aunt Kim who is holding Millie who is holding her valentine from Aunt Kim!

Andy gave me this orchid for Valentine's Day.  I love it! It is still alive!  He also gave me several home design books to help us plan our new home.
I was proud of my packaging for Andy's gifts: a new laptop case and some hand-crafted, sentimental art pictured below
Maps of where we met {Cedar City}, where we married {Salt Lake City}, where we honeymooned {Santa Barbara}.  I might love them more than he does.

We had a romantic dinner at home: wedge salads, lasagna, Italian bread, and classy rice krispies for dessert (Andy's fav)

We had a great valentines day!
