Short One Really

Heh-loh I'm back.

Ever since the last presentation ended yesterday, I've been smelling independence in the air.

Woohoo.

I can now up to no good like nobody's business. Hee hee.

Frankly, this is quite the nice short sem with just the right measure of stress. I don't know if this has got much to do with the social factor but it has always been in my opinion that people matter the most in many aspects of life. So... yeah, anyway thanks to everyone in my teams I've had a good time nailing the assignments this time round. (No rants o.o...!)

Special thanks to Pikachu (yes, you heard me, to Pikachu, the rest please make do with my not-that-special-but-sincere-thank-you lol) for doing me some big favours. And this covers a whole lot of stuffs ranging from helping me with internship matters to lending me a mouse. lol. Terima kasih banyak-banyak for taking care of me. *hugs* <--- bear hug XD~! You're the best!

.................

Christmas is coming and trust me, I'm diligently practising violin *halo*.

Today mum came home with this for me and I went all "kyaaaaa" over them.

omg omg. wthbbqcharsiew.

These are what I wanted to show you, Pika XD~! So super cute right??? Maybe we should get some nice cake too after the exam! =X Omg so tempting.

..................

Dad's boss got him a new handphone -.-"...

At a surprisingly good timing. Mine has recently reached its limit.

Now the old man is using HTC Wildfire T_T...

And me...

A pile of mess. Soli lah. Natural marh.

This photo was taken using the phone and in front of my lappie as a signature of dad handing his old Nokia dunno-what-model, which is apparently better than my ex (phone), to me. lol.

(I actually wrote a very long post but ended up backspacing everything because I've decided to put them in a separate post some other time so... don't hate me too much for making this entry so filler-ish lol)

MPO this Saturday! And right after music class! Oh yeah~! =D

Well then, I'm not too proud to make public that my dreaming streak has yet to end. Let's again, hope that I can have a good sleep tonight.

Oyasumi.

For a while...

People, I'm giving you some decent stuff to laugh at.

This is the TVC I starred in, as previously mentioned.

*_*...

I know I know, I look like a retard. Especially the part where I swing around and the part where I "attempt" to curl my hair.

T_T

Anyhow, I just don't have the talent in acting lah ok. And these are obviously NOT gestures that I would normally do. Also, I think I look kinda fat here =.="... Probably gained some weight from over-snacking these few weeks...

By the way, the laughing part at the end was supposed to be an NG. But they think it looks good so... o.o...

Aih.

...............

All right, then we have our own TVC for Triumph. Filmed and directed by me, basically. Though we had in fact, no proper settings and equipments for this. Not even a tripod - so as to avoid drawing attention. The over-exposure in certain shots are honestly inevitable. I wished we had a better choice at that time. Even the angles were limited because of where we had to position ourselves.

By the way, this is not the official or final video submitted for our assignment. Just my personal edit based on own preference over black and white motion picture. The actual one done by our group's editor is in colour. And with slightly different cuts, subtitles and ending. =)

Here you go:

Starbucking gets you a guy who'll offer you his 5Cs. lol.

And our lecturer/tutor likes our concept! =D So say yay!

..................

On the other side of the story... my flash banner assignment is due next monday and my current works are still looking as retarded as my acting...

And... I guess I've somewhat decided to keep on redo-ing until they look at least presentable.

Seriously, the dreams are taking their toll on me. I need a break from all these. I wonder if this is stress, I certainly am not feeling much these days.

Urgh. Now I'm off to sleep.

Wake up early tomorrow and do some research on flash. Hopefully no more annoying dreams. X.X...

Not Broke. Just Shattered.

Sickened. Weakened. Fallen.

The negative energies aaaarggghhhhhh.

Trust me when I say life's not been too good. Internally. As in, physically and mentally.

I just can't seem to get a good rest despite long hours of sleep these few days. Dreams keep coming back to me. And mind-boggling ones at that. I normally don't recall much of my dream but this time I freaking remember every single detail in them. Very very disturbing dreams.

Just some hours ago I woke up from another epic round of dream that got me so drained I feel like wanting to go for a sleep deprivation on purpose to see if things'll work better. Seeing dreams is as good as not sleeping. Maybe worse. But then again, because of that, I'm actually so exhausted I might just nod off in front of the laptop anytime. Talk about motivation to go to bed. Urgh.

On MUET day itself, our very own pig of the family celebrated her 22nd birthday. Papa Bear brought us to D'Tavern for dinner.

I told dad "I could eat a cow now" and he ordered the Sirloin Steak for me. LOL. Priced at RM45. =X That was the best steak I've ever had.

Apparently some friend of the pig thinks she looks like the Asian version of Ivanka Trump.

And she's so happy about it. That's the business student for you. Yerr not fair come help me find my celebrity look-alike.

Oh well o.o...

Happy growing old, dwaeji!! =D

Tumpang for Ian, Happy Belated Birthday!!! I took the trouble (?) to tell you not to drink too much and it turned out that you were just having green tea... -.-""

Oh and by the way, MUET was better than expected. Though from the listening paper I can pretty much conclude that I have impaired hearing -.-"... I came out of the hall with the idea that Ian Chee is gonna shoot down a Band 6. lol.

...................

The next day early in the morning I headed to Ampang Park alone to meet up with Pikachu and her friends to attend a Digital Photography Workshop by Nikon.

Pika... CHU~~!!!

It was tiring given the fact that I slept late the night before because of the pig's bday celebration and that the workshop started as early as 9am stretching all the way to 5pm.

But I had quite the fun time with a bunch of friendly people from UTAR, KTAR, Inti and HELP. =)

I've gotten FAT.

And the best picture taken that day??????

XD~~~!

On Monday I went to class with a face like this ----> ~.~'

And I wasn't able to concentrate even for a bit in Multimedia class for 2 consecutive days. Which covered TUESDAY... which was the day I "starred" in Joey's TVC for Ray-Ban...

In which the outcome of the TVC is... bound to be predictably ---> /.\"... with my stiffness and ugly appearance.

I SO REGRET DOING IT I COULD DIE THE DAY THEY SCREEN IT.

(*Hoping it would turn out better* T_T)

.........................

And finally, Wednesday... the public holiday that became working day for us. We had our shooting for Triumph's TVC at Starbucks in Jaya One. Discreetly. Or in other words, without permission. lol.

We initially received approval for shooting from another bar cafe but they pulled it back at the very last minute with the excuse that the filming will interfere with their normal operation. So... we had no choice but to infiltrate as customers to record in Starbucks. XD~!

Dad's AMEX Card, fake BMW car key and the most classy cellphone we managed to find in our group. lol.

Epic.

The main girl and guy, Jane and Kevin. Jane's a whole package of Barbie doll, don't you agree?

Overall it was a pleasant experience, I was quite fired up because that was my first time working the camera (the last time I only directed, yeah) and for the most part, everything worked considerably smooth. Though with the lack of tools you can't really expect anything professional from us. Also, with no control over the environment it was difficult to obtain the desired results. To bring along tripod, lighting and reflectors would attract too much of attention so... just bear with us. It's not a broadcasting subject. lol.

Group pic. You can see I was taking shelter behind tiny Chelsea to shield off my fatness. lol. All right, time for a diet.

Oh and yeah, met sis's friend, Jeremy too. Cool guy who looks the same age as me when in fact he's 8yrs older. Yeah. A big thanks to him for driving us around.

Well then, stay tuned for our TVC next week!

.................................

TODAY... I'll be going to uni just for our moral campaign. Our group will be hosting a game show for it heh.

And before I forget, Happy Birthday Mei Jiun cousie!!!!

I hope you have all the fun in the world today in Kuching! =D

Oh gosh, 3 birthday wishes all in one post. =X

The Unplanned

Tomorrow be MUET. Reading, writing and listening.

By right, for a fortunate day-off I should be doing some last minute reading (as if that would help) to put time to good use.

Sadly, things did not turn out as... planned. All right, I DID plan to do a tad of the studies.

BUT!!

Some dwaeji got me into something while I was practising violin... = ="...

AND SO!!

Maggie F. (and Ruby F.) not-so-proudly presents...

Noobies Violin Duet - Pachelbel Canon In G (really)

Wutch.

=XXXXXX

Now larf. Wuahahahahahahaaha!!!

*cough* *cough*

Yeah Ruby was playing the main. It's deemed easier for a non-violin-student like her. She could use her ears. On the other hand, I'm more to the visual type so... yeah. "Sigh-read" it (no I'm not good but I do it better than by ears). I was playing Ginger instead of my usual Marmalade today because we haven't touched (and tuned) it for a long time. Ginger is always the female voice of the duo to me. The sound's a little softer but the strings are easier to play, too much easier. Marmalade has got "the" temper.

Still I very much prefer to practise with Marmalade because the hard times with it makes playing on other violins (even the piano) easier. Then there's also the emotional attachment factor, Marmalade being my first violin and all that. Ginger would be good for performing! My verdict. =P

Truth is, I'm not technically used to Ginger so if you do notice, there's this string-crossing error there. lol. I was also standing somewhat farther away from the laptop when we were recording.

Anyhow, feel free to laugh. I hope this entertains you for that bit. lol.

......................

Sometimes, I wonder if I really am too sloppily dressed in uni.

Yesterday I wore shorts, and without my glasses, and with my hair half-up. And it was like a phenomenon to my fellow coursemates.

Now that I think of it. I think I know why... -.-"

I see it in a way when I look at my seniors.

Okay, don't get me wrongly. BC seniors dress up very nicely, I mean, it's pretty noticeable that seniors ponteng to their full quota isn't it? Initially I find it quite disheartening but now... seriously, let's just do a simple comparison. I'm in Year Two Semester Two of my course now.

Previously, in foundation, I used to literally sit with my back stout straight and listen so attentively to my lecturers I could hear their slightest mispronounciation in words.

NOW, in degree, I... slouch... =/... and that explains everything.

If this is how I'm treating my studies, you know you can expect nothing less from me for something like fashion.

In conclusion:

LOOK WHAT TIME HAS DONE TO ME.

Argh.

Depressing, but true. Time kills excitement, dampens enthusiasm and invites boredom. I'm becoming like this because there's no longer much to expect for in uni. I mean, those days when I feel excited about going to uni everyday, are so over.

Where oh where should I seek motivation?

=X

All said.

Now good night.

And I'm Back.

You don't usually feel very happy about your favourite mangaka going on hiatus for something like... maternity leave. Especially if it's an indefinite hiatus. You'll feel like flipping your computer desk. Unless you're in an incredibly good mood, I dunno, maybe you just hit the lottery. Based on personal experience, that is.

Okay that's in no way applicable to me. The maternity leave thingy is totally random so don't read too much into this.

Right, people?

At the very least I'm not paid to blog or whatsoever. Ahah. Sorry for making y'all wait, though.

Anyhow, let me just clear some clouds.

There's no other solid reason behind this long break except for the fact that I was lazy. Well, I did get a lil' busy somewhere between the last study week and the holiday. But that was all to it. In case you somehow thought I fell from the cliff of depression and got forever trapped in the depths of despair... snap out of it.

Life's been... so far so good.

Grandpa passed away. It wasn't a sad funeral. He died a peaceful death and with so many people coming to pay their last respects. We kids thought it was good that we got to meet up, it was like CNY really.

The trip to Penang was a nice one. But way too overdue to blog about now. You can tell that I had a good time if you went through my photo album in FB. And I'm going back this Christmas too. =D

Meeting up with the TB1s. The no-need-to-take-care-of-image moments.

Me and Pika. Mid Valley and The Gardens makan outing. The dwaeji kelefeh behind.

And then we have Deepavali!! I celebrate holiday, not the festival itself. lol. One day trip to Ipoh with the family.

Super filling dim sum breakfast at Fu Shan:

I looked like this when I got up from the table ----> =XXX

Don't get too hungry if you do, cause I've spared you from a lot more I savoured this whole holiday. =P For more pictures, go to my FB. lol. Now that I'm back you can expect the pictures here before FB.

The father and mother.

Dwaeji. Wears fake lashes to breakfast. Aissh.

Pictures of the day:

FUR BALLS!!!!!!

Omg omg. The sudden surge in hormones.

Took these during the Aqua Fair thingy at Ipoh's Jaya Jusco. Yeah I know it's Aqua but they have guinea pigs and iguanas too o.o...

I think my hormones prefer animals over men. Since I never react this way when I see guys. Ermm... Don't feel too offended, men are in a way, animals too. But I certainly don't fancy furry (hairy) guys. Thank you.

Well I'm also not suggesting that my future spouse should look something like a wabbit or what but hey there's the possibility. Hahahah.

Came back from Ipoh with quite the serious sunburn. Wasn't wearing any lotion or sort so yeah, behold the ultimate consequence.

Well, yesterday in my dream, I cut my hair. It turned out to be something like this:

Hrmmm... Choi Seung Hee, IRIS. Very the lady-like.

But honestly, I wanted something like this:

Kim Sun Hwa, IRIS. Cool.
(Btw IRIS is so overrated, Baker King Kim Tak Goo is too much better)

Like usual, I didn't know I was dreaming and although I asked for it I sort of regretted the decision almost immediately after the chop. lol. So... I guess that was a good simulation.

And today, I'm gonna end the post by betraying the dwaeji for a bit. She just had her final year prom and *whistles* ...

Hahah.

Made me feel like wanting to graduate faster. =X

That's all for now, it's been a disorganized post but you know this is what you'll expect from someone who hasn't been doing it for some time. lol.

Dad says writing is a hobby. It's time to get back to this. Heh.

Good night, my sunshine people. ;)

Days Off - Day 1

Instead of the usual Victorian, I went tribal yesterday. Uga ugga uwaga. LOL.

It's actually Wubiee's blouse.

Must go with tribal earrings. Heh. One of my many.

Pardon the distracting backdrop. Messiness is part of life XD~! Been fashion-conscious since Hitomi joined the family.

Despite my "reputable" ghostly image, I have no intention to go for a change. Not in a while. Particularly my hair. And by a while I mean probably 2-3 years. I still have both implicit and explicit reasons to keep them. One of them being to fight the chill LOL.

Speaking of the hair, here's a picture of my favourite hairstyle done by Wubie at my request.

Designed to go with my dress. Heh.

Can you believe she CHARGED me for this??? Geez.

And how I'm probably gonna look with waves. Urgh.

This an actual result after undoing the previous. A very tired face back from Mac Studio's official launch.

Not very ideal. I want it like Namie Amuro's!!!! =X

........................

Snap out of the dream. Anyway, food of the day is...

Donuts. Dunkin Donuts. Yeah. Grabbed em' on the highway. So much for my determination to cut down on sugar.

Wubie's failed DSLR attempt. wth. I edited like hell to make it presentable kaaayy.

Puppies grow really fast. The doggies I visited about... 1 month back got BIG. They look like dogs now wth. lol.

AND!!!!

Wubie should pay me publicity fee for this:

Kiss The Rain.

So many people liked the link in FB. And goodness it was taken handheld because I didn't bring my tripod and she wanted her fingers to be seen... -.-"... DSLR bukan handycam my dear. Kuli also get food larh weih.

And I took my shoot too. But yeah, FAILED ATTEMPT. And I'm only posting here in my blog because there's no freaking privacy in FB lol. Ah gou ah mao can view and share it. Well there you go, my favourite piece:

Forbidden Love.

Seriously not used to the piano. Very different with the one at home. Will retake for a complete version again haha. The lighting's pretty bad cause I didn't bother to switch on the lights. So leave it. Wasn't thinking much when recording this. lol.

Again let me remind you that piano is not my forte (piano memang cannot be forte). LOL.

*cough* *cough* XD~!

Now I'm on study week and supposed to be doing revisions. Unit registration went very very smooth this morning ♥

Bye people. Go listen to Clazziquai, love Alex ♥

Lover Boy

Both lead vocalists have voices I like. Love Wizard Of Oz and Sweety especially.

August Last wth LOL

Sorry for being extremely unproductive this whole month.

Was utterly demotivated by certain issues in life. Which I do not wish to discuss further.

Today's the national day. But that's not about it. Just celebrated mum's and my own birthday. =)

Blew all the blues straight into the sea of Caribbean. lol. (Too much of Captain Jack Sparrow these few days)

Anyhow, gathering with the girls 2 days ago was a major mood vent and the overall FOOD to go with the big days was absolutely gorgeous!

29th August 2010

Morning kept to myself (assignment wth scriptwriting), afternoon with the girls and the night for the family ♥~

Lunch with my girls @ Station 1

Yiing Jye (the nurse with blinding halo lol), Wuen and Jervenn.

Elaine. See I took nice pic for her XD~!

With Jervenn.

Photo taken by Jervenn. lol.

Foooooood. I don't like my steak's sauce! =X The beef is okay.

I love my girls because they know exactly how I feel when it comes to certain issues. Hmm. I'm so glad I talked to them.

Elaine and Jervenn were so fascinated by my Hitomi XD~! And in no time they morphed from know-nots to know-hows and started snapping like pros. lol. I hope we get to go to the beach together next time for a nice round of photoshoot under the blue blue sky with a magnificent view of the sea behind. Not to forget the straw hats, summer dresses and shades. Hrmmm... then a sip of pineapple juice XD~!

I'm so going to Matta Fair to dig the good deals.

Dinner with the family @ Kinsahi ♥

Rubie the "Great".

Papa bear summoned the big Hokkaido Sashimi. *drools* RAWWWW!!! =X

Rubie: "I wan I wan!!! I wan take pic with the sashimi!!" LOL.

1cm thick. Fresh flesh.

Savour the goodness.

Mum's Tori Katsu Bento.

Dad's Spicy Ramen.

Rubie's Omelette Curry Rise (Omu-karee-raisu).

My Tempura Udon.

Cute fishcake lol.

Papa and Mama.

With Rubie. I freaking look like a zombie here.

Prawn heads. My favourite pic of the day. The prawn head kept dripping water on my dress while we were at this ARGH! =X

Back home we had...

Ta-Ra!!

Our Green Tea Cheesecake!!!

The perfectionists.

Now blow.

And cut the cake so we can EAT.

Comes with cheeeese tarts omg! =X

Wrap it up with a perfect picture of mum & dad (see potrait on the wall ♥).

The Japanese meal was oh-so-gratifying for heaven's sake! My first time tasting raw prawns and God, soooo sweeet! Loved the Tuna, Salmon and Scallop! Also the rest of the orders. Definitely a taste to remember!

30th August 2010

Mum's Big Day.

Dad HAD to go because of grandpa's condition and so he left Klang for KB that evening. We wanted to follow but are sadly tied to tests and assignments. =/... Fortunately we received good news of grandpa's recovery. Just that he's really old now and needs constant care.

To celebrate mum's part we went to an Italian restaurant. A Bukit Raja food discovery!!

Casa Di Napoli Ristorante Pizzeria.

I THINK the ang moh serving us is the owner of the restaurant. Check out the decor:

Nais. I like.

The very happy mum.

Ruby and I. The Somerset Bay girls. XD.

And again, FOOD!!

Mushroom soup to go with the pasta.

Mum's Lasagna.

Rubie's Spaghetti.

My Venetto something. It's basically chicken breast.

Paiseh I don't remember the names because they are so long (like the restaurant's name itself lol) but taste was superb. Mum was praising non-stop. Despite the looks, they don't taste jelak (like those too much of cheese and cream) and are just right with the seasonings. Now we know where to for good pasta. =D

They have so many different flavours for their pasta it almost got us troubled. Should give it a try, people. =)

I ended up buying another piece of cardigan that night -.-"...

So broke T_T...

Dad's coming home this evening and I guess before the post gets lengthly, I've got to end it with...

A camwhore pic of me in my lovely SB dress! XD~! LOL.

Good bye people.

I swear I will keep posting LOL!!!!!
