Fell Behind AGAIN

The problem with falling behind is I know I will forget something that has happened in the last 2 months or so. Good job, Mom.

Lets see here... Where do I begin? June? Alrighty.

Kelly woke up one morning and had pain in his mouth. I took him in to see a dentist and OH. MY. GOSH. Kelly had a ton of cavities and needed pulpotomy's (baby root canals). He is 4 freakin' years old! Are you kidding me? He had so many that we had to split the visits up. The first pulpotomy was fine. Kelly laid there like a champ and got one side of his mouth done - fillings at all! No problem. the second visit? Horrible. They numbed him up (or so they though) and started to drill. I see Kelly wiggling and I sit up and see tears coming down his face. Guh! It took them awhile but they finally got him numb enough to finish the other pulpotomy and fillings. My poor Boogie! It broke my heart. Kelly is a strong kid so that he was crying killed me. He did great all in all though.

Our friends watched Kelly & Skylar while Shayne & I helped some friends moved. When we went to go pick them up they both had their toenails painted and Kelly had his fingernails painted. Ha! Kelly rocked the orange nail polish. They started to paint Skylar's toenails and Kelly didn't want to be left out so... he was definitely included.

We went to the zoo with our friends. We decided it would be our yearly June tradition now. We had a blast! And we went early enough to beat the crazy heat and crowds.

And I have to share another random sleeping picture of Kelly. He always falls asleep in the oddest positions.

And of course we always need to document big boo-boos. Kelly was going to spray our friend Evan. Evan blocked himself and Kelly fell on cement stairs. Kids these days...

I was sick of Skylar's mullet so we went and chopped it right off! It was so refreshing. It was her first haircut too.

Kelly and I decided to make the 3 ingredient Nutella Brownie recipe. They were good! And we had fun together.

I have to wear glasses again for distance. I knew this day would come. The first day my glasses came in the mail I about died. They seemed HUGE on my face. Now they aren't so bad now that I know how to sport them.

That takes care of June! Now lets rewind to July!

I think the biggest thing that happened in July was we were surprised with a puppy. Her name is Willow and she is a Chihuahua. We got her when she was 10 weeks old. My best friend Lindsay got her for us as a thank you for house sitting for her for 3 weeks. We were so excited!

I am so happy to say that I can style Skylar's hair now. Yes, we can do pigtails my friends. Hallelujah! She looks SO cute. My baby girl is turning into a little girl.

We found out that Skylar had a bad lip tie. That is why I couldn't breast feed her. I never knew! So we took her to Dry Creek Pediatric Dentist office and got that sucker lasered right off. It was quick and Skylar heeled quickly. And the best thing is she is trying to talk more now.

After laser treatment

We spent the 4th and 24th of July with my Dad and his wife. We had a great time. We had the best fireworks and fun company. The kids played and the adults mingled. Quite fun.

Shayne started his window business back up. He did windows for years and decided to get that back up again! Check out his site here.

Now we are in August! Not much has happened this month. Just mostly my Nerium stuff. My team is growing like crazy and I can hear my free Lexus calling my name. Ha ha! Our new EHT product has changed my world. It has helped my fibromyalgia so much. I can be me again. I love it!

Catching Up

Dang it! I let too much time go by. We have been busy. I hope I can remember everything that happened in March and April.

In March Shayne was admitted in the hospital for internal bleeding. Luckily, he is okay now. He has lost a lot of weight. He is down to 207 pounds. He looks fantastic!

Shayne picked up a new hobby. He makes pens and he is good at it!

Little Miss is walking on her feet instead of her knees now! Yay!

Kelly is still a smart little bugger and grows up more and more everyday.

I have the best visiting teacher. I have had a rough few months, and she surprised me with the most thoughtful gift!

I had to have emergency oral surgery. I have never experienced SO MUCH PAIN. Nothing would relieve the pain. Finally, I got in and had that molar extracted. Instant relief! My teeth are horrible.

I had my first Nerium convention the first week of April. It was a blast! We are opening in Korea in June and we just had our pre-launch of our new product, EHT. EHT is a supplement that helps with anti-aging of the BRAIN. I can't wait to start taking mine. I want to Blog each week on the differences I feel. Nerium is going great. I won a $750 cash bonus in March. I am also working on personal development and I love how that makes me feel. Nerium is amazing on so many levels.

My little sister and her family moved in with us unexpectedly. Our house is crazy busy!

Natasha graduated from nursing school and we were invited to watch her walk. We are SO proud of her!

I know I am missing some things... but I guess I will just update things as I remember them.

February 2015

Well, talk about one crazy month! It's a short month but man has it been a wild one. Let's start from beginning to now.

Shayne and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary by going up to our FAVORITE restaurant in Utah. Yes, The Blue Boar Inn. We love their food. It's exquisite and mouth watering. It was Shayne's last big meal before the big surgery so we definitely splurged. We had such a great time. It's neat to go to dinner and come back to your room turned down (bed spread and pillows off the bed, lights dimmed, piano music on, rose & chocolates on the bed with a book of poems).

Happy 7 Years to Us

Monday, February 2nd, was the big day. Gastric bypass. We have been prepping for this surgery for about a year. We were prepared. It's been a roller coaster so far. Shayne was so calm and collected before surgery. He didn't have a care in the world! I was surprised how worried I was. The 3 hours he was in surgery and recovery I felt like an emotional wreck! I was so relieved when I got to meet him in his room. He was pale and in so much pain, but they finally got it under control. Shayne's Mom came into town to help with the kids so I could be with Shayne while he was in the hospital. Talk about a blessing! I don't know what I would have done without her!

It has been 3 weeks since the surgery. Shayne is doing alright. He is still trying to manage what he can and cannot eat. He has had throwing up spells which have been terrible! He has to be careful and needs to try to avoid dumping syndrome.  But all in all he is good and is down 30 pounds!

On Monday the 9th (one week after surgery) our babysitter decided to bail on us. It was so scary. Shayne was not supposed to be lifting Skylar (he couldn't lift more than 10-15 pounds) and he was left alone with the kids all day because I had to work. Believe it or not, our sitter bailing on us was a blessing in disguise. My best friends babysitter FINALLY had openings. She is located in Riverton and watches the kids from her home. Her back yard is full of fun things to play with (Kelly is in heaven), she does crafts and activity times, the other kids are so nice there and the bus can pick Kelly up from her home as well. SCORE!! We are SO grateful! The kids have enjoyed going there as well. We are so relieved.

Let's see here... next on the list. Oh yes. Our lovely Altima. We got screwed when we got the Altima. We knew it. Over the time the Altima was just going to crap. It was a money pit and it just wasn't safe anymore. It just NEEDED to go but we didn't know how we would get out of it. It was scary to drive so we knew we had to do something and soon. On Friday, February 20th, Shayne called me at work and said he had this coupon thing for Larry H Miller trucks & imports. I was hesitant because Larry H Miller dealerships have a HORRIBLE reputation but I decided to at least check it out. I am so glad I did! They are just a smaller dealership sandwiched between the bigger ones. They listened to our needs, there was no BS'ing around or pulling our chains, they were honest, personable, quick and they offered us $3,000 more for our P.O.S Altima than any other place we have checked. Plus, with our coupon thing, we got an additional $2,000! It was wonderful. We walked away with a 2014 Kia Sorento. I LOVE IT! It's the newest car I have ever owned and I can't get enough of it. I can't believe it's ours.

Next! I love my job at the U. I love the work, I love my team and I love my bosses. Last year a guy I know asked me to apply for his team. I am happy where I am so I told him thanks but no thanks. Well, his teammate saw me in the work bathroom and told me they had another opening and asked me AGAIN to please apply. I figured, why not? So, I did. I had to present a 10 minute power point presentation. It was fun but nerve racking! The team said I did great, they were all highly impressed and it was awesome. Right after my interview their manager went M.I.A from a sickness so I have to wait for her to return to work to see what happens next. Stay tuned...

Yesterday I got home from work to discover that our refrigerator died. It was just done. BAAA! Crazy mode! We quickly unpacked the food that hadn't spoiled yet and ran it over to my friend Lindsay's house. We ran to Lowe's, bought a simple new fridge, but since it was so late, the deliver guys were already gone for the night and since their truck was being repaired, they wouldn't be able to get us the fridge until Wednesday. Yay! Luckily our good friend Evan borrowed his neighbors truck and we were able to get it home the same night. It's nothing fancy but it works and that is all that matters to us right now. PHEW! So now we have a new car and a new fridge.

Nerium is still going super well! I love it so much. I cannot wait for the convention in April. They are announcing a new product that has never been discovered before and that will change the market completely. WHAT IS IT?! It's making me bananas!

Skylar is still walking on her knees instead of her feet and she says love you. Sort of. Comes out like "awwww boooo". But in the same tone we say love you in.

Kelly is still Kelly. Feisty, full of energy, loving, opinionated and imaginative.

Shayne has an interview in Arizona in 2 weeks for a dispatcher position. I have no idea what this year holds for us. Everything can change in an instant. I don't even know what to think anymore.

In 3 weeks we celebrated an anniversary, experienced major surgery, had a cousin sleepover, got a new sitter, had a job interview, got a new car and fridge - what's next? Ha! BRING IT ON.

Here are some randoms....

Cousins Derek & Riley had a sleepover while Grandma was in town. Skylar LOVED Riley.

Sexy pose.

Kelly pushed her into the small table in their room and it left a goose egg on her poor head.

Love my silly guy!!
