NASA (nās´e)
abbreviation
National Aeronautics
and Space Administration.
National Aeronautics
and Space Administration
National Aeronautics
and Space Administration (NASA), agency of the U.S.
government, established by the National Aeronautics and Space
Act of 1958. The functions of the organization were conceived
to plan, direct, and conduct all U.S. aeronautical and space
activities, except those that are primarily military. The
administrator of NASA is appointed from civilian life by the
president, with the advice and consent of the U.S. Senate. The
administration arranges for participation by the scientific
community in planning scientific measurements and observations
to be made through use of aeronautical and space vehicles and
provides for dissemination of
information concerning results.
Under guidance of the president, the administration
participates in the development of programs of international
cooperation in space activities. With the advent of the space
shuttle program, NASA became more frequently involved in
military activities despite its original
intent as a
civilian agency. Because of the long delay caused by the 1986
Challenger disaster, however, the military started expanding
its own fleet of booster rockets.
Extensive use by NASA
of the ancient
Egyptian
"ritual calendar" for many of their launches, dockings etc.
Also much use of Masonic numbers and themes.
John Glenn (the most recent astronaut) is
apparently a 33 degree
Mason
(a high post) and almost all the
launch site numbers in the US and Russia are number 33 or 333. A
great deal of recent NASA and Russianspace
activity has been
timed to
link in with specific star system "movements" around the
Earth's equator or horizon. As an example,
many launch and other specific procedures have been timed so that the
Orion star system was exactly 33 degrees
above the horizon. NASA and the Russian Space Agency put great
importance in the position of the stars and the "ritual
calendar". What is their real
agenda? It appears that the new STS-88 joint space station is
involved in the big picture.
Some examples of NASA
and Masonic symbols:-
- a. Zarya
(Russian), meaning "rising
sun" was launched from pad 333. Rising
sun means
Horus in
ancient Egyptian. Horus rising is
symbolic of the transformation between the
dimensions of
life and death. The launch pad
333 is 3,300 km from Giza, where the
Great
Pyramid is situated.
- b. The one and
only launch pad at the White Sands Missile range where
Werner Von Braun and his Nazi co-horts ran the post war V-2
tests was launch pad 33.
- c. The landing
strip at Kennedy Space Centre in Florida where the shuttle
lands is runway 33.
- d. Comet Encke,
the "lead object" of the Taurid meteor stream and the
primary
focus of
John Glenn'srecent return to space, was precisely at the
Masonic altitude of 33 degrees below the Western horizon in
Phoenix. 33 is the top level
Masonic Scottish Rite.
In October 1995, the
potato became the first vegetable to
be grown in space. NASA and the University of Wisconsin,
Madison, created the technology with the goal of feeding
astronauts on long space voyages, and eventually, feeding future
space colonies.
APOLLO &
ORION
NASA's apparent
obsession with the Egyptian mythology, mainly Orisis/Orion
and
Isis/
Sirius both of
which are closely linked with the
pyramids/
Sphinx of Giza),
could readily be seen in the name and the official insignia
NASA used for the lunar program from the very beginning.
"Apollo", of Greek mythology, relates to '
Osiris'/Orion of
Egyptian mythology which has no
relevance to the program.

Operating Missions as
Nodes on
the Internet (OMNI), was the first
time
that a spacecraft ever had its own Internet address and was a
fully RFC-compliant active node on the Internet.

"Houston, we have a problem" is a popular but erroneous quotation
from the radio communications between the Apollo 13 astronaut John
("Jack") Swigert and the NASA Mission Control Center ("Houston")
during the Apollo 13 spaceflight, as the astronauts communicated
their discovery of the explosion that crippled their spacecraft.
The words actually spoken, initially by Jack Swigert, were "Okay,
Houston, we've had a problem here". After being prompted to repeat
the transmission by CAPCOM Jack R. Lousma, Jim Lovell responded,
"Uh, Houston, we've had a problem."
Since then, the phrase has become popular, being used to account,
informally, the emergence of an unforeseen problem.
The official NASA "Technical Air-to-ground Voice Transcription" has
the following dialog listed:
02 07 55 19 Haise: Okay, Houston (interrupted by Lovell)
02 07 55 20 Lovell: I believe we've had a problem here.
(interrupting Haise)
02 07 55 28 Lousma: This is Houston. Say again, please.
02 07 55 35 Lovell: Houston, we've had a problem. We've had a main B
bus undervolt.
Contrary to the printed text, the transcription includes a
handwritten note in the margin that states, "Swigert reported
trouble," and attributes the first transmission about a problem to
Swigert, and the second to Lovell. The above NASA transcription also
differs from Jim Lovell's own recollections that he provided in
Chapter 13 of Apollo Expeditions to the
Moon (1975), where he writes, "Jack Swigert
saw a warning
light that accompanied the bang, and said,
"Houston, we've had a problem here." I came on and told the ground
that it was a main B bus undervolt. The time was 2108 hours on April
13.".
