LOVE all of the precious "little" ones and the time we got to spend together today! The 3 Hume kiddos are like my own...I've changed their diapers, tucked them in bed, and loved them all since they were babies! Look at them now! I am about to have 3 awesome babysitters!!! I can still see Frances (the beauty in the middle) in her den bouncing on her big red ball while watching cartoons. I started keeping her when she was in the 2nd or 3rd grade. We had lots of fun times together! What a blessing it was when she got to then babysit my boys! They love their Miss Frances! Frances moved to DC to be a teacher before Lilly Margaret was born (and we sure do miss her!), so she has only met her once or twice. Lilly Margaret learned to love her today too after lots of cookies!! What a great way to start off the New Year! Maybe I can actually catch up on my blog as well!!

Where does the time go? I can't believe our baby girl is 1 year old already. She is doing so many fun new things these days. First of all, I went from having her evaluated a month ago with a concern about her gross motor skills to having a baby that I am 100% sure is completely A-OK! She is EVERYWHERE...crawling well (finally), pulling up, crusing, standing alone for up to 30 seconds, trying to walk (she took 3 steps the day before her 1st birthday), and climbing stairs. She just decided to do everything at once! She got her first black eye last week and her first tooth 5 days before turning one. It was a week of firsts for sure! She has a laugh that is contagious, and she laughs a lot. She still adores one family member more than any other...our dog Jazabelle. She is constantly chasing after her, saying "Jaz", and patting her leg to get her attention. She loves going outside and climbing stairs...if you don't allow her to do either she pitches an all out fit! She loves animals and can tell you that a duck says "Kack", a cow says "Mmmmm" and a dinosaur and tiger say "Arrrrr". She is a decent eater, but nothing like our boys were. She really doesn't care for any fruit except for raspberries and occasionally strawberries. She LOVES peas, green beans, lima beans, turkey, chicken...and of course any snack/junk food:) She can sign "More" and "All done". She still doesn't have much hair...maybe one day!!! And according to our home scale she weighs a whopping 16 pounds. We will see next week at her doctor visit. What a blessing this little tiny peanut has been to our family!!! Our prayers were answered in a much greater way than we ever could have imagined when God blessed us with her. Happy 1st Birthday Baby Girl!!!
