Snow Day
Oh. My. Gosh. Never in my life have I seen snow like this in Vegas, it's insane. And it's still snowing! The best part is that they cancelled school tommorow, which means I don't have to go to work and tend the little angels. This a truly a milestone, my first snow day. Check out these pics of our snow covered villa and surrounding perameter

Christmas Tagged by Yotzie
1. What is your favorite Christmas song?
Oh there are a million, BUT O Holy Night has always been my all time fave
2. When was your most memorable Christmas?
They have all been pretty memorable. When we were little, Shaneboy would always sneak into my room because we couldn't sleep, and we would dare each other to go downstairs and sneak a peek at the presents. And we would. Then in the morning we would act so excited! we were naughty.
3.What is your favorite Christmas treat?
Ooh I love when neighbors bring over plates full of christmas goodies, and also my Grandma's popcorn balls
.4.What do you dislike most about the Christmas season?
The holiday rush and all the crowded stores. Rude people can take the merry right out of Christmas sometimes! Also when my parents would make us start taking down all the decorations on Christmas day.
5.What do you like best about the Christmas season?
I love the decorations, especially at night when the tree is all lit when the lights are out. I love gathering together and watching the old Christmas specials on TV, and singing Christmas hymns in church. I love the feeling I have AFTER everyone's presents are bought, then I can't wait for them to open em. I love when the family is all nestled and the relatives tell stories about the good ol days, and also getting Christmas cards, and reading the nativity story
.6. Who is the hardest person to shop for on your Christmas list?
My parents! My old man still hasn't taken the tags off the Led Zep shirt I got him 3 years ago, I'm about to take it back and wear it myself.
7. If you could receive one gift without money being an issue what would it be?
A small adventure to the Cook Islands to meet all Buddah's family
8. What is your idea of a perfect Christmas Eve?
Lighting the fireplace, (if we had one), drinking hot chocolate and reading the Nativity Story
9.Which do you like eggnog or hot chocolate?
Hot Chocolate. I don't think I've ever tasted nog, but I'm open to it! I kind of want to now, maybe this will be the year I finally try it
10. Do you prefer a fancy Christmas tree, or one decorated by the kids?
I like the tree with all the ornaments we've gained through the years, even the one with Richard's toothless smile on an ornament made of a paper plate and macaroni. The fancy one is pretty, but the kid tree is chock full of memories.
11. What is your favorite Christmas Tradition?
When we were younger, we would do the 12 Days of Christmas for our old neighbor. It was so fun to leave a gift on her doorstep and ding dong ditch her. I'm excited to start new traditions with my Mikey.
12. Do you like fruit cake?
Is there anyone out there who does?
13. Do you prefer skiing or snowboarding?
Snowboarding. Except for when I get trapped on my back like a turtle. Or make the ski lift stop because I can't get off right.
14.Are you dreaming of a White Christmas, or do you say "Bah humbug" to snow?
I dream of a white Christmas. And I'm pretty sure it's gonna stay a dream.
15. What was your favorite gift from Santa when you were a child?
Oh my, I had a bunch of favorites. There was my Baby Alive, my Polly Pocket Village, my Scooter. I loved anything that wasn't clothes.
16. What is your favorite Christmas Movie?
Charlie Brown Christmas is #1, followed by A Christmas Story, all the claymation movies, the old Grinch
17. Do you eat snow?
That's also a dream.
18. Who do you wish could be with you this Christmas?
I am truly blessed, everyone in our family is here with us! But, it would be nice to visit Mama Seve again, and also my mom's grandma and uncle. We talk about them every holiday and it would be cool to hear their side of all the stories.
19. When do you put up your Christmas lights and decorations?
The day after Thanksgiving
20. Real or artifical tree?
Fake, Chief Gam never let us have a real one. He always said it was a fire hazard, boo. But they smell nice.
I TAG--- Casey, Titi, Jen, everyone!

Remember November
Yes yes, I seem to be a good 2 months late on my blog. Ok, where to begin...November was another action packed month of football, fattening delicious food, friends and family. We took another excursion to Fresno to watch Jon's senior game. Buddah and Brian dressed up like Jon...
Oh young love
I'm stoked for them, they were totally meant to be. NDC is all married now, so Alise has dubbed us NDCM (married). Our husbands are all honorary members whether they like it or not! The End.
