This weekend was totally awesome.  We left Saturday morning and stopped in Wichita Falls and picked up John and Shannon and headed to Wichita, Kansas for the George Strait concert with Martina McBride.  We had great seats and each performed right in front of us and came down the isle right beside us.  Both of them put on a great concert that lasted for three and a half hours.  Martina is so cute and little and has just a great voice and just beautiful songs and seems like a really good person.  George came on and walked down the isle right by us.  He may be getting older but he is still awesome.  He sang "All My Exes Live In Texas" which brings back a lot of memories to me because my girls spent many an hour outside in the front yard with their guitars, microphone and red boots on playing the George Strait sisters and singing that song.  I totally enjoyed the concert and being able to see up close for once.  The highlight of the evening was after he had gone off stage and everyone had kept clapping for him to come back on, he came down the aisle and I got to shake his hand.  Now that was awesome, and I totally acted like a teenage in excitement.  What a great weekend it was, seeing the concert and getting  time to share with good friends too.  It will be a weekend that I will remember for a long time to come!
