Yet again, my good friend Annie, took some wonderful pictures of our family. She did a great job! Especially considering my kids mood at the time! Thanks Annie!

Halloween Fun!

Here are this year's Halloween Photos. Payton is a magician, Whitney is a witch (sometimes a nice one and sometimes a mean one) and Coleman is a skeleton.

Just a cute photo of Coleman and his new favorite thing to do. He was taken quite a few steps on his own, but loves to cruise with his walker.
We made some carmel popcorn spiders for a fun Halloween treat!

Coleman is 10 months old!

Coleman was officially 10 months old on Friday. I can't believe how fast he is growing up! He is so much fun and we all love him so much. He loves to play with his ball, loves following Payton and Whitney around, loves to climb stairs, loves to stand and clap (especially after he has taken a few steps) and he loves to take a bath. We love you C-man!

Best $4 Ever Spent

About 2 years ago I found this car at a yard sale down the street from us for $4. I bought it thinking that Payton may grow out of it soon, but Whitney could use it for awhile and any future children (Coleman) could use it. Plus, it was only $4.
I believe we got our money's worth in the first few hours and have had more fun with this purchase than any other toy we have bought. This car has been washed, the oil has been changed, it's gotten new windshield wipers, it has been to the mechanic, it's tires have been changed, rotated and filled with air and it's carried many things such as dirt, weeds, water, food, toys and friends!

All of this before Coleman was born. He has now taken it over (well, as much as Payton and Whitney will let him) But he loves it just as much as they do and loves being pushed in it, loves to push him self backwards in it and loves to open and close the door in it.

Payton and Whitney when we first got the car.

The Difference Between Boys and Girls

The picture says it all!

(I forgot to add one more photo that Annie took of her little boy and Whitney. I just love it!)

Double Photo Shoot

I'm sure you all know by now that Whitney loves to get her picture taken. I had to make a quick trip up to Utah for my grandpa's funeral and my friend Annie watched Whitney one of the days I was gone. So Annie, and my other good friend, Kelly, took Whitney and their kids to the park and had a photo shoot. Both Annie and Kelly are amazing photographers. Here is some of their beautiful work!

Kelly took the first 3 photos. Annie took the ones below.
Thanks Annie and Kelly for sharing your talents with us!

A Day at the Botannical Gardens

Last week my friend Annie and I took our kids to the Quail Botannical Gardens in Encinitas.
They had a story hour for the kids.
It was such a beautiful place and was a perfect day to enjoy the outdoors.

We had such a fun day.
Thanks Annie for taking pictures for us. You are so talented!

Whitney found a ladybug while we were there. The kids were able to pick and plant vegetables.

Eating some delicious veggies they picked from the garden.

There was a beautiful water fall in the "Rain Forest".

FIRST DAY OF FIRST GRADE

Payton is now in 1st grade. Yikes! He had a great first day, but it was a long day, for him and for me...I missed him! And so did Whitney.
(We had after school pictures for the first day of school instead of before school pictures. I forgot my camera).

Whitney wouldn't leave Payton alone. She kept saying that she loved him and missed him and kept giving him hugs. He, of course, just kept laughing and saying that "Whitney loves me so much and missed me so bad."

This was the picture I got when I told him if he just let me take his picture he could have a surpise when he got home (Whitney and I made him chocolate chip cookies).

Oh the love! Well, most of the time.

One More Post for the Night

Nathan feel asleep on the couch, so I thought I would just keep on posting tonight while I had the chance. You probably won't see another post for a few weeks, but you got 3 in one night.

The kids wanted to take pictures of each other.Payton took this one.

And Whitney took this one.

And this one

I took this one...they are such good buddies. Payton can make Coleman laugh all of the time. Just hearing Payton's voice makes him smile.

And Whitney took this one too.

This is Coleman's face after almost every bite. We aren't sure why because he absolutely loves to eat, but it's so funny.

And this is Coleman happily eating his squash...after making his scrunchy face.
