Cousin Fun

Tonight the boys got to go over to Uncle Dustin and Aunt Shawnee's for a boys night. They watched a movie and ate pizza and had a great time with all the boy cousin's (plus Kendyl and Reagan). Shawnee sent me these fun pictures. I am so glad my boys get in and play and don't think they are to big to play. Nakeaden was a good entertainer of Reagan, she loves him just about as much as Kendyl does. Thanks Grant for inviting the boys over for such a fun night!!
I got to have a night all by myself. I finished our basement and then went a little early to pick up the boys. Reagan is almost to the point of crawling. She pushes herself up a little and then kind of gets upset and just starts to scream. We all got a good laugh until she got upset enough to cry. Then Nakeaden saved her!! It was a fun night for the boys to have a break from basketball and have a little fun with their cousins. I am sure glad they have each other so close.

Bar Makeover

This past week I took on a project I have been wanting to do for some time. Our downstairs bar was in need of a makeover. I painted the bar and the cupboard gray and made some fun signs, also replaced the stools with some black metal ones. I want to do something with the counter top, and do a different light but I am not sure what yet. It is a fun space and I am excited to have parties and get together down there. The downstairs is really coming together and I feel like it is truly becoming our own. Here are the pictures of the finished area. I thought I took a before picture, but I guess I didn't. So here is the finished product!!

10 Year Blog Anniversary

Every year when this date comes around I really sit and ponder what this little blog means and what it has meant to our little family. 10 years people, this blog has been going for 10 years. Wow, there are times I get super behind, and believe me the last few years this little blog has gotten way behind, and I wonder if it is really worth the stress of trying to keep it up and current. When we sold all our businesses I made it a goal to get all caught up, have all the books printed and stay up to date. Sadly I am still trying to make it to that goal. One of the reasons is the book company that I loved no longer will pull your blog posts from blogger. They have a software that will pull the info and pictures but then it messes everything up doesn't put anything in order and the pictures are not even with the right posts. It will only do it in this new program. It is sad to think that little old blogger could be coming to an end, and soon I might just have to start to keep this record somewhere else. Which could be a really bad thing. I am trying, every time I think I will have time to sit down and get caught up I have other things that come up. And sadly I have the guilty feeling of I can not sit down and be at a computer. I have laundry, and cleaning house to do. Plus I have my job usually once a week of cutting out fabric. I just don't want to let something that I really do hold dear to my heart go. So once again as I pretty much say every year on this little old blogs anniversary I will try and do better. I am trying, that is all I can say and do. Little old Foster Bunch Blog, you have been going for 10 years now. You have shared in our fun, our heart aches, and most of all you have seen how our family has grown and changed. I am grateful beyond measure that I took a leap of faith so many years ago and started this blog. Happy Blog Anniversary!!!

Happy 100th Day of School

I am so glad I have a boy who likes to dress up and that he goes to a school who does fun things. Today was the 100th day of school so Warrick got to dress like he was 100 years old. I tell you all that really mattered to this boy was that he had a gold cane. He is a pretty stylish 100 year old man don't you think? Have a good day today buddy!

Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken finally. Thank goodness it was a short 20 minutes session not to much torcher for everyone. It was also really cold so I was extremely glad it was short and sweet. I look at these pictures and all I can think is how grown up my boys are. It pulls at this mama's heart strings a little to think they are so big. Nakeaden just turned 14, and will be starting to drive this Summer. Axton is 10 and seriously growing like a weed. That boy is sure to be our tallest and already wears the same shoe size as me. Then there is Warrick, where in the heck did my little boy go. He will turn 8 in May of this year and be baptized. It is just really hard for me to wrap my brain around this. Then there is Garrett, man what would I do without this man. Sometimes he makes me want to pull my hair out, but he is also my rock, my friend, and such an amazing example to me. He loves and cares about so many, and is an amazing spiritual giant. He takes a million things on and thrives at them all. I am so lucky to have him by my side. He truly is the rock that hold this family together. I love that is family picture depicts exactly how are life is. It isn't perfect, but it is perfect for us!
Nothing better then a dad and his boys!
 The love of my life

Our crazy, loving, and amazing boys!
(Insert after the fact)
Also since I am so on the ball, and had Christmas cards made but never ended up sending them out. I thought I better document that at least I thought about it. Maybe I will send them out this Summer!! Wouldn't that be funny, oh well I guess it is the thought that count right!!

Solar Eclipse 2017

Ok so I have to admit, I have not given the solar eclipse the credit it deserves. I have had mixed emotions about all the craziness of it, and also thinking about the possible crazies it was going to bring in to our area. For all the hoopla  about it, it actually turned out to be a very calm and actual peaceful thing. I had gotten up to go to my workout class that morning, which was cancelled. The highway was a steady lane of traffic, so as someone put it everyone must have been running on Mormon standard time. Ha Ha!! I decided to take a bike ride instead, and went my favorite route over to Menan. Holy craziness of people, and not any people from our state. I got back home and we all got ready to anticipate this Solar Eclipse. It was amazing to watch, and truly, truly aw inspiring. It was so incredibly spiritual all at that same time as well. It just reaffirmed to me that our Heavenly Father is truly amazing, and that I just can not even imagine thinking there is no God after seeing one of his amazing miracles. We all had so much fun, watching, and feeling the temperature drop and then the totality of the Eclipse. It truly was jaw dropping, and now I see why people chase them and follow them. It was truly one of God's Miracles that we were all able to witness. Mailey also called on Facetime so she got to watch it with us to. It was a pretty spectacular day with these boys I get to call mine. I sure love them! We ended the day with football. Even Warrick padded up for some fun!!
We didn't just Warrick to have the glasses with a plate so we all had them!! Safety first!!!
Taken with my phone through my glasses

I got these pictures off of Facebook, since my camera did not do it justice like these do. One is credit of Travis Gugleman Photography

Meet the Squirrel's

Grandma brought the squirrel's to our house today and holy cow are they crazy little guys. She has three of them that they rescued at the cabin  and she has been feeding them and taking care of them. The boys thought they were pretty awesome. Grandma even let them hold one. They through out all kinds of names but I don't know if they ever really figured out who was who and what they would call them. They are super fun to watch! She will keep nursing them back to health until they are bigger. Then they are going to let them go at the cabin.

I Love This!!!

"As you create a home, don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think about your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey."-Marjorie Pay Hinkley
